It happend one night when they were having a drink at Jungkook's place. They'd had a couple beers in a comfortable silence when Taehyung suddenly burst into a rant about his homophobic parents. Jungkook just took another swig of his beer, casually listening, as if he was used to the older's occasional banter. 

They were sitting comfortably on the couch in Jungkook's living room, or at least Jungkook was. Taehyung had adjusted so he was sitting on his feet with his arm resting on the back of the sofa, gesturing the hand holding his beer to exercise a point on his parents. Jungkook just sat quietly listening, taking an occasional sip of his beer. When Taehyung brought up how his mother wouldn't even look at him, Jungkook brought his beer to his lips with a glimpse of annoyance in his face. He hated that his friend's parents were so blinded by the fact their son was gay they couldn't appreciate how lucky they are to have him. He furrowed his brows realizing that his bottle was empty. He got up to get a new one.

"Would you get me another one as well?" Taehyung said wiping his mouth in between words. Jungkook nodded taking both their empty bottles to the little kitchen. "And then my father says he wants to ban me from dating anyone!" Taehyung said waving his arms in the air. "I'm a grown man, who is he to ban me??" He said clutching the collar of his shirt. 

Taking his new bottle and his fingers from the little bit of foam that had rolled down the top, Taehyung continued speaking, but in a softer voice. "I should just marry some guy to teach them a lesson," he said bringing the beer to his lips, wincing slightly at the bitter taste.

This got Jungkook's attention as he resumed his position beside the older on the couch. He agreed that Taehyung was a grown man and he deserved to be with another man if he wanted to. A small smile tugged at his lips as he raised his own bottle, at the thought of Taehyung showing up at his parents' house with a sparkling new husband.

"Yeah, serve 'em right."
