That night was also the night when the seven GOT7 members meet up. Jackson had just arrived in Korea for a quick visit a few days ago and it was an impromptu kind of gathering. They were all gathered at Jaebum's place (since he's the leader) when Mark's phone interrupted their loud conversation.

It was from Sana and he had turned away slightly to pick up the call. He was planning to just tell her that he would call back later since he's with the boys but what came from the other side of the line was his girlfriend's frantic voice.

"Hey-"

"Can you come here? We are at the hospital and I just-"

"Hospital?" That word caused the loud conversation in the living room to tone down while six pairs of eyes shifted to his direction. "Sana, calm down. What happened, are you okay?"

"I am, I shouldn't be." She continued speaking in her panic state, which he could tell she was also trying to calm herself down. "Nayeon, she pushed me away and I don't know what's going to happen. Come here please, I need you here."

The mention of his ex girlfriend's name caused Mark's face to darken immediately. The serene and peaceful expression was replaced by a deep frown on his face. Everyone else could see that the grip on his phone was tightened in a way which made his veins a little more visible.

"I'm coming over. Which hospital are you at?"

"The one which our company's artistes always go to."

Without giving any proper response, Mark ended the call and stood up from the couch. His face's still as dark as earlier.

"I'm going."

"What happened?" Jaebum was the next to stand up but Mark had ignored him as he headed straight to the door and headed out after putting on his shoes in a scarily calm manner.

Before Jaebum could even call him back, Bambam's quiet voice stopped him, his mobile phone still brightened in his hands.

"Jihyo texted. Nayeon noona..."

He didn't have to continue, that was enough confirmation for both Jaebum and Jinyoung.

"Jinyoung," Jaebum started when the latter rushed towards the door; taking in a deep breath to make sure he sounded calm enough, Jaebum continued. "Do not let him drive at all."

"That's what I'm going to do."

Jinyoung disappeared out of sight after those firm words.

"Bambam, you too."

"I know." The younger male looked up from his phone again before keeping it into his back pocket. "Keep him in control, right?

Jaebum rubbed his temples, watching Bambam leave the house too before he shifted his attention back to the other three old members of theirs. They all had the same bewildered look on their faces, except maybe Yugyeom who seemed to be both confused yet in thoughts. However, Jaebum in his current state, did not notice that.

"What happened?" Jackson was the one who brought up the question. "Did something bad happen to Sana?"

"It's Nayeon." Jaebum answered half-heartedly in a quiet mutter while he went back to his room to grab a jacket, stopping in front of the trio once he put on his jacket. "I'm sorry we have to cut this gathering short. Jackson, I will make it up to you."

He managed to crack a small smile directed to the male.

"Can I come along?" Yugyeom broke the momentum of the conversation. "I'm worried."

Jaebum paused for a while before he nodded.

"It's the to go hospital of the company. None of you drove right?" Jaebum asked again despite knowing the answer since they were going to drink that night. "I will drive."

Yugyeom followed after the older male, sliding his feet into his shoes without saying anything. Jackson and Youngjae who were still feeling puzzled shared a glance with each other before they do the same too.

Jaebum said nothing throughout the whole trip. He knew that trouble was waiting for all of them.

At the hospital, in a VIP room for the company, Momo was trying to calm a panicking Sana down especially since she was the reason why Nayeon's being sent to the surgical room right now. Jeongyeon were surprisingly really calm while Jihyo was pacing up and down after she had sent the text to both Bambam and Minhyuk separately.

"Jeongyeon!" Minhyuk's voice filled the silence but the girl made no response. Instead, Jihyo was the one who reacted to the breathless man who just stopped in front of them. "What happened?"

Jihyo took a quick glance at Sana and spoke up for her.

"She got hit by a drunk driver who's not in a very good state either." She explained briefly and added the last part even though he never asked. "She just got sent into the surgical room. They had not given us any updates on how serious her injuries are."

It was almost as if the nurse had heard what Jihyo had said, a knock was heard before the nurse walked in with a paper in her hand. Not giving any chance for them to ask questions, the nurse spoke up in a very professional calm voice.

"Who's the family of the patient? We need your permission to abort the baby—"

"What baby?" For the first time after the accident, Jeongyeon's voice finally could be heard.

"The patient is five weeks pregnant."

No one knew how to react to the news the nurse had just announced. Silence filled the air until the nurse spoke up again, this time a sense of urgency could be heard from her voice.

"The patient is losing too much blood so, can any of the family or friends sign this form?"

Minhyuk had raised his hands slightly, wanting to take the form from the nurse. However, Jeongyeon beat him to it, grabbing both the paper and pen from the nurse and signed on it in a very messy manner which the nurse accepted and left the room with it.

"We haven't been..." Minhyuk trailed off, still feeling really confused at what just happened. "She didn't say anything either."

"She probably didn't know too." Jihyo whispered in a very calm voice before she looked at Jeongyeon. From the other woman's expression, Jihyo knew that she's thinking of the same thing as herself.

"Jihyo, have you called them." Jeongyeon's voice was eerily gentle and calm, too calm for Jihyo's liking.

"They are coming over now."

"Good because I'm going to kill him once he's here."

Jinyoung had managed to get into the driver seat before Mark could and before Mark could protest, Bambam pushed Mark into the back seat of the car. Throughout the whole car ride, Mark had not said a word but Bambam beside him had noticed that his fists were clenched tightly.

Jinyoung had also been checking through the rear view mirror to make sure that everything's okay at the back. A raging Mark had always always always been better than an expressionless Mark.

"Mark hyung—" Bambam had started but he caught the gaze of Jinyoung's from the mirror who shook his head. None of them knew what Mark's thinking right then and maybe it's better to keep their mouth shut for a while.

In the other car, Jackson and Youngjae were both still confused with what's going on.

"What is happening?" Jackson who's in the passenger seat asked again since he hadn't been getting any proper answer from Jaebum at all.

"Nayeon got into an accident." Jaebum answered, his gaze focusing on the road.

"I mean, why would Mark be acting like this?" Jackson continued probing. "You sure it's not Sana that's injured?"

"From how he's acting, it's definitely Nayeon." Jaebum answered again. Despite him getting slightly impatient, he thought maybe it's time they stop lying.

"What do you mean when you told Bambam to keep him under control?" Youngjae was the one who asked this time; he was sitting up straight instead of leaning against the seat like how Yugyeom's position was.

"Because from what we know about Mark, he's currently not in his right state of mind."

"What do you mean—"

"Mark hyung's probably going crazy inside." Yugyeom muttered quietly which finally got Jaebum to realize that Yugyeom hadn't spoken a word since earlier, much less asking any question.

Had he already realized?

When they've finally reached the hospital, Mark had gotten out of the car without looking back. Bambam had to chase after him while Jinyoung parked the car in a hurry before he ran after them.

"Mark hyung, calm down." Bambam had tried to hold him back. He knew that there were more than Jeongyeon and Jihyo at the scene. It's going to be a lot more trouble if Mark couldn't stay calm.

However, Mark ignored the younger boy completely and instead, his footsteps got a lot more faster and more hastily.

"Mark!" Jinyoung had caught up to them and like what Bambam did, he held onto the older man's shoulder, attempting to make him stop. "You do know both Sana and Minhyuk are there right now."

"Do I look like I care about that right now?" Mark finally stopped to give his two close friends a reply.

But it was just a brief moment for he had turned away from them and strode towards the direction of the VIP room.

"Jeongyeon." Jihyo stepped towards her and spoke in a low whisper, trying to not let the other three in the room to hear the conversation. "Bam just texted that they will be reaching anytime now. Please keep calm yeah?"

"Why?" Jeongyeon kept her arms crossed and as she leant against the armrest of the couch, having no intention to keep her voice low. "Did Bam also say that he's out of control?"

Jihyo looked around and noticed that Minhyuk, Sana and Momo were looking at them. Sana had finally calmed down; however, she looked as confused as Minhyuk when Bambam's name was mentioned.

"Bambam?"

Jihyo gave them a nervous smile before she hit Jeongyeon's thigh with the back of her hand probably with the meaning of 'what are you trying to pull here' behind it. She knew that Jeongyeon's almost losing it and as much as she's feeling stressful, Jihyo knew that double trouble was heading towards them and she had absolutely no time to take a break like how the other three who knew nothing could.

The door slammed open and everyone in the room looked up, startled by the loud sound. A look of relief instantly spread across Sana's face when she saw who was by the door. She was the only one who stepped forward to him, hoping to get some comfort from him - her boyfriend.

However, he had brushed her off, pushing her hands that was reaching out to him aside and walked straight up to Jeongyeon and Jihyo at the other end of the room, leaving Sana feeling bewildered.

"Where is she?"

That was the first question that left Mark's mouth, causing the other three in the room to be even more confused than ever. By that time, both Jinyoung and Bambam had arrived; they had also both went up to him, trying to pry him away and in hope that he would calm down. But like how he did to Sana, Mark brushed them away, shrugging them off in a rough manner.

"Where is she?" He asked again, this time his gaze stayed fixated on Jeongyeon who finally straightened up and looked at him. If he was any calmer than now, he would have noticed the angry tears forming in the woman's eyes.

"Jeongyeon, no." Jihyo whispered in despair, her hand grabbing onto the other's arm but that was totally in vain. For the next thing everyone in the room heard was a loud slap.

Everyone's eyes widened at the scene that just happened. Jinyoung had then rushed to Jeongyeon's side, holding her firmly by her shoulders.

"Calm down!" Jinyoung's hands squeezed her shoulders tightly as he whispered harshly. But Jeongyeon completely ignored his words.

"I'm asking, where is she?" Mark spoke in a calming yet dangerous tone. Bambam still had his hands wrapped around Mark's arm, hoping that he would be strong enough to hold the older male back if he lose his self control.

However, instead of an answer, he got another slap from Jeongyeon.

"What the is happening?" Jaebum's loud voice interrupted the whole tension. Rushing up to the group, he stood beside Jihyo and his eyes met with Jinyoung who shrugged, claiming that he had no idea what's going on.

He then turned to Jihyo and thankfully, she finally gave everyone the answer for Jeongyeon's rash actions.

An answer none of them were expecting.

"Nayeon's pregnant."

Those two words had caused the people who just arrived in the room to turn their head to her. All having the same wide-eyed expression on their faces, for various different reasons.

"And we all know who the father is." Jeongyeon continued, her voice shaking slightly while her gaze was still on Mark. "Knowing Nayeon, she wouldn't have allowed Minhyuk to touch her that way."

That revelation killed all words the men had in their mouth. Jaebum could only open his mouth but no words came out, instead it was an exasperated sigh of despair that came from him. Hoping to calm himself, he brushed his hair back in frustration and turned his back against the group with a hand on his hip.

It was also a sigh that escaped from Jinyoung's lips too. His grip around Jeongyeon tightened, both to calm himself and to make sure Jeongyeon wouldn't do anything impulsive to the man in front of her.

As for Bambam, he was only biting on his bottom lip before he blurted out.

"You said you used protection." That was a statement and not a question.

Jihyo's gaze wandered around the room. The look of disbelief on Sana's face, the betrayed expression Minhyuk had on his face and the surprised yet upset expression on the rest of the faces in the room, those had made her really guilty and sorry towards them.

A lot a lot more than ever.

"I told you I will kill you with my bare hands if you hurt her." Jeongyeon started again, however her calm voice slowly escalated when she started losing control of her emotions. "If you're going to do stupid things like this, why the did you break up with her seven years ago! Do you know how broken she was? You and your stupid pride—"

Jeongyeon paused for a while, unable to continue as her tears filled with both anger and fear of losing her best friend fell.

"You and your ing pride." She jabbed his body with her finger with every word before pushing the male who didn't even budge. "If you had went after her that night, both of you might be happily married now! This wouldn't have happened! It was guilt; Nayeon saved Sana out of both guilt and concern. If you were going to leave her then do it completely! I had to sign that approval form for them to remove the baby; I personally signed it. You ing !"

With her last few words, she pushed his body back again and before she could really hit him, Jinyoung turned her body around forcefully to make her face him. Jeongyeon had initially resisted but Jinyoung stopped her again. This time, he wrapped his arms around her body and hugged her head close to him.

"Calm down, alright? Just calm down." He whispered in a soothing manner. "Nayeon will be okay, she will."

He couldn't tell if he was convincing Jeongyeon or was he telling himself that.

"Where is Nayeon?" Mark asked for the third time, his voice still dangerously low and quiet. However, when no one answered his question, the man lost it.

"I'm asking where the is she?" His voice was raised slightly before he bellowed. "Where is she?! Can someone just answer my ing question?!"

Jihyo sighed.

"Still in the surgical room, it's been a while and we received no updates."

Mark made no reply and just turned around, heading out of the room. Bambam caught the gaze Jaebum gave him and went after Mark.

"Can someone explain what is going on now?"

It was Minhyuk who spoke up first, catching the attention of Jaebum, Jinyoung and Jihyo.

"Yes, if you haven't noticed, we are here too." He gave them all a cold stare, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

The three of them shared eye contacts, all knowing that it was time to really face the consequences of the lies they had made up all these while.

Jinyoung glanced down slightly at Jeongyeon who's still shaking in his arms then turned to Jaebum.

"I need to calm her down."

"Go, we will handle the situation here." Jaebum nodded in a quiet whisper.

"Let's go." Jinyoung pulled away, looking down at the girl and spoke in a rare gentle voice as they left the room.

When Minhyuk stepped forward, wanting to stop them, Jaebum blocked his way.

"I will explain." It was a short statement, his expression looking grim as he then looked around the room. He had forgotten that others were there during the whole commotion. And now that he's finally taking notice, he knew that a simple apology wouldn't be of any use.

Nothing would be.

"Sana, Minhyuk, I'm really sorry."

Despite knowing that it's won't help anything; an apology was the first thing that Jaebum muttered.

"When did it started?" Sana who's seated at the couch looked up at both Jaebum and Jihyo. She was no longer crying; everything happened so fast and she was too shocked to feel anything else.

"Depends on how you see it." Jaebum spoke calmly, avoiding all the eyes on him. Especially those from his group. "If you're talking about the recent events, since Nayeon's Japan fanmeet. If we have to go back to the beginning..."

He sighed but Jihyo managed to finish his sentence.

"If we're talking about the beginning, it would be nineteen years ago. 2012, when we were all still trainees."

That came as another shocking information to the people in the room.

"2012?" Jackson asked in disbelief, unable to accept that his good friends were hiding such big and sinful secrets from them.

"Yes 2012." Jaebum confirmed. "I don't know the exact date but they've been dating then."

"Even during our promotions?" This time, the one asking was Momo who's sitting by Sana's side.

"Even during our promotions." Jihyo nodded firmly. "Remember how Nayeon seldom make her whereabouts known during our vacation? Ever since Mark had his own apartment, she would be there."

"Is that why he usually only share a room with Bambam when we're overseas?" Yugyeom asked quietly.

"Yes, kind of." Jaebum confirmed. "So he could make a quick phone call or video call."

Yugyeom kept silent after that and Jaebum couldn't help but to think that the younger male had known it all along.

"Did you already realize? You're the only one who had not shown a hint of surprised."

"I've guessed." Yugyeom leant his back against the wall. "But I never really ask anyone about it."

"You've guessed but you never once bothered to bring the topic up to any of us?" Jackson interrogated, obviously mad now.

"He would tell if he wanted to." Yugyeom calmly responded. "But I really didn't know about the recent ones."

"All of you knew about this but none of you tried to stop them?" Sana's question hit Jaebum and Jihyo hard. The fact that they even selfishly accepted their wrongdoings, that itself was enough for Sana and Minhyuk to not forgive them.

"I know all of you are close, a lot closer than you guys are with us. But I didn't know it would be to this extent." Momo added in a quiet tone when neither Jaebum nor Jihyo spoke up.

Complete silence took over the room for a while. The two ex leaders of GOT7 and Twice couldn't find any words to even respond, much less to defend themselves. There was nothing to defend too.

"This is too ridiculous." Youngjae who had been silent during the whole time finally spoke up. "I will be going now and I hope Nayeon wouldn't be in any danger."

With that said, Youngjae left the room without looking back. Jaebum didn't try to stop him either; it was indeed a lot to take in especially in just one night.

"I need to talk to Mark."

That came from Minhyuk and was enough to get a reaction from Jaebum and Yugyeom. The both of them went up to the older man and blocked his way.

"No." Jaebum stated firmly. "Not now."

"Yugyeom, you too?" Minhyuk stared at the taller man incredulously. "Move away."

"You can't." Yugyeom refused to budge. "You really can't, not now."

That made Minhyuk's blood boiled. He was already feeling upset and betrayed; when his path got blocked, he couldn't help but to get mad at them. Without thinking, he shoved Yugyeom aside and grabbed Jaebum by his shirt, almost sending a punch to his face.

"You can hit me." Jaebum muttered lowly, yet firmly. "But I still can't let you go."

Jaebum's firm words were the final trigger. Minhyuk landed a heavy punch onto his face which caused the latter to stagger back slightly. Jihyo could only look away, however none of the present even bothered to stop him.

Except for Yugyeom who stood in front of Jaebum after.

"Yugyeom, just what is wrong with you!?"

"If you go now, you will be the one getting hurt." Yugyeom sighed, holding Minhyuk back with his hands. "I'm not helping either side but I repeat, if you go now, you will get hurt."

"Mark did wrong, it's true. But with his current state of mind, you will end up being a venting sponge if you try to even talk to him." Jaebum stepped forward, a bruise already formed on the side of his lips. "Until he's sure that Nayeon is alright, he won't be able to think normally."

"I've never seen him like this before..." Sana muttered, tears forming in her eyes again now that things are sinking in. "Does Nayeon mean that much to him?"

"Sana..." Jihyo muttered with a hint of pity and guilt as she stepped forward but Sana had stopped her from going near her.

Jaebum sighed.

"This was even worse than the night they broke up..." Jaebum trailed off, knowing that there was no nicer way to phrase it. "If anything happened to Nayeon tonight, Mark might literally die with her."

Minhyuk scoffed.

Silence filled the air again. Yugyeom still had his back leant against the wall, his arms crossed against his chest. Jackson's now seated on the side couch, still trying to let everything sink in. Sana was staring into space with Momo by her side. As for the two ex leaders, they were both worried about Nayeon's surgery and the mental state of everyone.

No one knew how much time had passed. It was the ringing of Jaebum's mobile phone that broke the silence in the room.

"Hey Bam."

"Noona's out but she's sent to the ICU. The doctor said that if she goes through tonight, her condition would be stable. But..." Bambam voice trailed off.

"But? What is it?"

"Mark hyung," Bambam sighed from the other side of the phone, his voice getting into a quiet whisper. "I don't know what to do with him. I've called Jinyoung hyung too."

"Will come over now."

' i'm feeling generous so i will post an early update. apparently, one chapter is really not enough to conclude as i thought it would. there's actually still quite a lot to write till the actual end, so i guess it's good news? HAHA. also i thought it was obvious nayeon saved sana. and yes, it's guilt. not that she wouldn't save her if anything happens but in this story, it's mostly guilt.

and yes, the break up was seven years ago because it's the year 2031 now. during the start of the story, it's 2030. i hope no one was confused.

lastly, i have to repeat myself that i have no means of promoting cheating. it's a wrong thing as portrayed by the characters reactions here. even the friends were in denial.
