PROLOGUE

That main said to Yunhee that their friendship was not that close.

Not that close.

Those words should not have sounded painful to Yunhee. Not when Yunhee was so looking forward to that night, the night that she had been waiting for seven years.  The night where she finally could strengthen herself to be able to express her hidden feelings. In fact, after Yunhee stated three simple words-but not very simple-to the man she adored, then got a response like that, all she could do was feeling down. It was very piercing, very hurtful.

At that time, Yunhee and the man were still in middle school. Going through high school, Yunhee was getting more and more difficult to stop thinking about him. She might be lazy to go to school if he wasn't there. The man is her only reasons to feel encouraged. Gradually, the stupid feeling of her is growing deeper. So it was difficult for her to throw away the shadow of the man's face from her mind.

If it was said that they were not that close, Yunhee doubted that. The fact that they were once in a classmate is undeniable, but the man didn't really see it. The man didn't really consider her existence, as if Yunhee was just a piece of dust.

Now, ten years have passed since that feeling grew. Four years passed after that moment of confession via chatting on social media. Yunhee was no longer a young and reckless girl, she was an adult. In the past, she was indeed very stupid and careless and annoying. She disturbed a man she likes via an obscure message, pretending to be someone else to be able to know more about him, and many other behaviors that make that man feel uncomfortable, resentful, and even hated her. Now, Yunhee have not taken actions that could make him hate her, yet. Therefore, she tried to hold herself back from contacting him. So that until this moment-even though she knows the man's contact number, connected with him on Facebook and Twitter , Yunhee tried hard not to send him any message.

In Yunhee's deepest heart, she knew that the man was not interested in her. That all the work she does will be in vain, because you cannot impose the will of others. Yunhee cannot force the man to have the same feeling towards her. This sounds pathetic, well, especially with the fact that the man is her first love.

However, no one knows the course of fate.

Sometimes, when you have given up and surrendered to the things you are fighting for, slowly they will come closer to you, without you realizing it, without you asking for it.

They came to you in a demanding way.

And it was ridiculous.
