Seulgi woke up in the middle of the night crying. She couldn't remember exactly what happened in the dream but the feeling was too sad. 

With no one to talk to she felt more alone. Seulgi the lights and stared at the ceiling. Suddenly she recieves a text message. 

"Hey. Sorry I just left you earlier." it was a chat from Kang Joon. 

Seulgi was surprised that Kang Joon would randomly send a message at a late hour. She chose to not reply... But her phone buzzed again. 

Kang Joon: are you awake?

Kang Joon: you're reading my messages!

Kang Joon: purposely ignoring me...pshhh so petty. 

Seulgi: YA CAN YOU STOP BOTHERING ME?! 

Kang Joon: okayyy sorry! 

Seulgi: so annoying. Why are you even awake?! Why are you texting me?! WHy ARe YOU ANNOyING ME?!

Kang Joon: one question at a time! 😂 honestly, I did really want to apologize....couldn't stay still in my bed till I texted you sorry. ALSO I didn't plan to annoy you. You read the chat, but ignored me. 

Seulgi: I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO REPLY.

Kang Joon: "Apology accepted?"

Seulgi: so entitled. 

Kang Joon: lol was just suggesting. Btw why are you awake?

Seulgi: Kang Joon, wanna go get drinks?

Kang Joon: YAA!! Why are you asking me that? You shouldn't ask guys out for a drink! 

Seulgi: I WAS JUST THINKING OF BINGRRAE! You think I'm asking you to drink Soju with me at 1am??? Yaaaa you're unbelievable!

Kang Joon: You had me at Binggrae. Are you buying?

Seulgi: You still owe me some cash, you're so shameless. 🙄

Kang Joon: It was all a bad timing, okay?! I'm gonna pay you back...someday 😂

Seulgi: FINE!!! see you at the convenience store. -_-

Seulgi put on a hoodie under her baggy shirt and went outside wearing only a pajama. Not too long, Kang Joon also arrived. 

Seulgi has already put in their binggrae and some food in the basket. Kang Joon didn't question a thing and they both proceeded to the cashier. 

Before Seulgi could even pull out her wallet, Kang Joon pays in cash for the food in the basket. 

"It's my treat" Kang Joon says as he jokingly winks at Seulgi.

"Wow! You're already a changed man! Bringing cash instead of a denied card...amazing!" Seulgi teases.

They sat on the same place from before and this time both of them are sober. 

"Kang Seulgi, why are you still awake?" Kang Joon asks as he starts to sip on his banana milk. 

"I don't know. I woke up crying because of a dream that I can't even remember... Why are you awake?" Seulgi throws back the question to Kang Joon.

Kang Joon brings out his phone and quickly scrolled to something. 

"This." He hands his phone to Seulgi. 

"K-Entertainment Buzz: Actor Lee Min Ho spotted proposing to non-showbiz girlfriend." It was an article about Suzy and Lee Min Ho. 

"DAEBAK! Lee Min Ho is getting married?! ....wait... are you upset about this? Why???" Seulgi slightly freaked out about the news. 

"The woman that guy is going marry is Suzy..." 

"What? How can you be so sure? The face has been blurred out!" she pointed out the obvious. 

"She has been itching to give me back the ring so she could marry that guy." Kang Joon stops for a moment and his demeanor changed again. 

"Sorry I can't offer any useful advice for that." Seulgi replies as she hands over some tteokbokki to Kang Joon. 

Seulgi's POV

"It's really over huh?" I could see his eyes were starting to fill up with tears. 

I'm no help at all...now I feel guilty for being annoyed at him. He was probably just trying to divert his attention.

Kang Joon suddenly stood up. 

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"I'm gonna get a soju." He casually replied.

"YA! I'm not gonna call another taxi for you if you get drunk" I said.

"Then just leave me." He said with that irritated voice again. 

I didn't want to argue with him so I really just left. He's so stupid! He keeps on crawling back to that person who cheated on him. Mom, I thought you were the only one who did that.

Morning came and it's another work day at the cafè. Kang Joon was late and Jongmin decided to sell only a few of their menu. 

"Hyung, don't you think we need another barista? You can't have only Kang Joon and I." Siyoon stressed his worries. 

"Is Kang Joon not answering his phone?" Jongmin asks but Siyoon sways his head no. 

"He's probably drunk to his guts again." Seulgi butts in as she mops the floor.

"How did you know?" Jongmin asks. 

"We had a late conversation. I think he drank because of the news." Seulgi replies. 

Jongmin and Siyoon reacted with a pained face. They remembered that Lee Min Ho's proposal was televised. 

"Wait...Both of you hanged out of work?" Siyoon was surprised. 

Seulgi and Kang Joon's relationship at work was that of a cat and dog. 

"Seulgi, maybe try to send him a message. See if he replies."

Seulgi didn't hesitate to her boss and quickly texted Kang Joon. 

Seulgi: You're making everyone worry at work. Hurry up and come here!

Kang Joon only ready the text and didn't reply. 

"This jerk. He only read the message and didn't bother to reply. Aish.." Seulgi complained and shocked Siyoon and Jongmin. 

"Woah. 'Aish' sounds so different when you hear it from Seulgi's mouth." Siyoon reacted amazed  teasing Seulgi to lighten up the mood a bit and Jongmin laughed at it. 

While getting ready to open the cafè they continued the meeting of possibly hiring a new employee. 

"I'm doomed. My brain is too small for this" Jongmin had no hope for his problem solving skill. 

Seulgi stopped mopping and sat with Siyoon and Jongmin to voice out a solution she thought of.

"Look at it this way boss. You're really gonna have a bit of loss in the first run. But with the steady flow of your weekly sales plus additional sales due to a new employee making more orders than the usual, you'll regain losses and it can possibly add a tad bit of earnings." Seulgi brain blasted with them and left Jongmin and Siyoon impressed. 

"Ya!!! Our Seulgi really is intelligent!!!" Jongmin exclaims.

"Hyung...You should switch places with Seulgi... You're embarassing" Siyoon jokes.

"Thank you Seulgi! I'll keep that idea in mind. With that I'll treat you and Siyoon for lunch later." Jongmin happily reacted.

Work has started still Kang Joon hasn't appeared. The store was never idle, it was indeed another busy day. 

In the midst of the busy cafè a familiar woman entered the cafè but Jongmin and Siyoon didn't notice. 

The woman went to the dishwashing area and saw a new face. 

"Yes yes! I'm washing the cups as quick as I can. I'm sor-----.. Oh! Ma'am you can't be in here, it's a mess at the moment. Are there no free table inside the cafè?" Seulgi turns to the woman. And quickly washed the soap away from her hands to accommodate the woman. 

"Aigoo! Are you washing those cups without gloves? You're gonna ruin your hands at a young age!" The woman speaks to Seulgi and starts to help with the washing. 

Seulgi felt so confused. Why would a random customer barge in here and wash cups? She thought to herself.

"Ma'am. You really don't have to do that. It's my job, I'll set a table for you as quick as I can and deliver your order at your table." Seulgi quickly grabs a foldable table and chair as she pulls the woman away from washing cups. Seulgi also carried the bags that the woman was carrying with her. 

the woman was dumbfounded at Seulgi's accomodation so she just sat down allowed Seulgi to take her order. 

As Seulgi brought up the situation to Jongmin and Siyoon, they looked to see the woman. 

"Oh! EOMONI!!!! You're here!" Siyoon and Jongmin jumped in jo
