When Irene, Yeri, Wendy, and Joy arrived at the cafè, they quickly recognized Jongmin and proceeded with a deep bow. 

"Sunbaenim!" Yeri cheered gleefully.

Seulgi had a confused face, she didn't comprehend why Yeri called Jongmin a Sunbaenim. 

"Seulgi, I didn't know you have a talented friend group!" Jongmin complimented as he had been in many trainings with them. 

The girls giggled feeling proud of their progress as trainees. 

Kang Joon nudges Seulgi whose confused face turned mortified. 

"Boss....are you in the entertainment industry?" Seulgi sounded as if she has just seen a ghost. 

"I sang and danced for a long time now" Jongmin replies  casually. 

"You should see his awards. He has so many!!" Siyoon fuels Jongmins ego. 

Seulgi suddenly stood up and took fresh air outside the cafè. They all laughed and Jongmin tasked Kang Joon to follow her. 

"Sunbaenim, Don't worry about Seulgi! She just felt embarassed. Have you heard her sing?" Wendy assures that Seulgi will be fine. 

"She sang on-key....whlist drunk! I was very impressed. I should be the one embarassed, I can't sing as good anymore." Jongmin was fanning himself. 

"Aish, that's because you keep on smoking And screaming at Kang Joon and I." Siyoon rats out Jongmin's vices.

"He wouldn't be screaming at you guys if you weren't hard headed. Just saying." Joy butts in as her eyes trails away from Siyoon.

Seulgi and Kang Joon got back and immediately Seulgi bowed to Jongmin. 

"Boss, I'm sorry you had to see my performance. Your musicality deserved better." Seulgi with her unending apologies.

"Don't worry about it! You did well! ..I'm actually surprised that you're not training with the girls" Jongmin asked.

"Sunbaenim, She doesn't believe that she's good enough! We keep on trying to make her audition..." Joy ratting out Seulgi's opportunity turn downs. 

"But she's just too stubborn.." Kang Joon butted in.

Joy laughed but she quickly pursed her lips when Seulgi glared at her. 

The food arrived and Seulgi grabbed the envelope full of cash. The girls were shocked to see she was holding a big amount of money. 

"Ya! Why do you have a big amount of money?" Irene got suspicious of the big cash. She knew that Seulgi was struggling with money that's why she got a job at the cafè. 

Everyone turned silent.

Seulgi did not answer Irene and proceeded to pay for all the meals ordered. 

The delivery guy left but no one was still eating. 

"FINE!! That money was from my step mother!" Seulgi said with an irritable voice. 

"And she just gave it to you? Really?" Irene questioned in disbelief. 

"She threw it at my face.....I picked it up after she left...Don't worry I'm not as desperate as you may think." Seulgi replied without thought.

Seulgi's POV

Why couldn't we just eat? It was done anyway. What was I supposed to do? Run back and give her money? Act like I don't need it? 

Was I really desperate? 

I do deserve the money... It's technically my father's and he still needs to support me. After all that emotional damage, he better!
