My Sister Is Twisted
Description
A young woman returns to her home after being sent overseas for 10 years. Her family finds her return suspicious because no one invited her to attend her ex-boyfriend’s wedding to her sister. With her huge personality change, the family wonders if they are looking at an imposter who resembles her or if her body is being possessed by a malevolent spirit.
Characters
Do Boram (OC)
- The 2nd child of Mr. Do who is known for having her mother's temper, she becomes calmer when she returns to Korea.
Mark Tuan
- Boram's roommate who takes care of her after she gets into an accident that temporarily blinds her.
Do Kyungsoo
- The only son of the Do family, he is closer to Boram as she often took care of him.
Kim Kibum
- Boram ex-boyfriend who still cares for her but chooses to marry Areum after what happened between them.
Do Areum (OC)
- The oldest child of Mr. Do who favors her more than his other children, she has the face of an angel but is secretly a devil inside.
Foreword
The theme "rebirth" is based on how my OC, Boram, became someone new. I've read a lot of stories where rebirth is like the main character dies and reborn to a certain timeline of their past. I wanted Boram to be seen as someone who changed the way she used to be and to show her family she isn't like the old Boram anymore.
When I started out writing this, I wanted to write it similarly to how I see some formats for movies that I watch on Lifetime Movie Network. There are some movies where a scene from between the middle or end appears at the beginning only to reappear again.
I actually planned on posting the story since Dec. 10, but I kind of got sick so I end up waiting until I felt better to finish working on the story.
This story is an entry for Shoes of a Unicorn Writing Contest - Round Nine.
