While swaying her hips side by side, Dahye was also taking deep breaths and then exhaling through . Sehun was even mirroring her actions as his way of support. She bit her lip and winced, feeling another contraction hit her, and as exaggerated as it was, her hips felt like it was being torn in to half. Momentarily stopping her movements, she bent forward, resting her hands on her knees.
 

"Love, I can ask the doctor to let you have a C-section." Sehun asked worriedly, gently massaging her hips from behind to ease the pain.
 

"I'm okay, I can do this." She breathed weakly as she went back to her original stance. Sehun nodded in defeat, kissing his wife's forehead.
 

"Oh God, even until child birth, you still can't keep your hands to yourself." Sooyoung whined as she finally entered the room. She brought all the necessities that Dahye might need and for support to her brother.
 

"And even here, you still can't keep whining to yourself." Sehun rebutted.
 

"QUIET. If you don't want to keep your mouths shut, get out." Dahye demanded and the siblings quickly shut their mouths. She was now doing squats to help her ease the pain of her labor and the siblings even tried to hold their breath just in case the pregnant woman would hiss at them again.
 

The doctor had suggested a few exercises for her and being the obedient person that she was, did everything as soon as the instructions were given to her. She just wanted to end the pain quickly and push the baby out yet the child was quite enjoying inside the womb.

"Come out now, baby. Don't make mommy suffer." Dahye carefully held her stomach as she did her squats. Her husband then held one of her hands to help her pull herself up. As torturing as it was, Sehun also did the exercises with her, until his own muscles became sore.
 

"Hi, how are you feeling now? Sorry, there was an emergency." The doctor excused as he entered the room, his face still covered with the mask.
 

"It's okay, doc. The exercises helped a lot." Dahye stopped squatting but continued her breathing exercises.
 

As the doctor and Dahye talked, Sooyoung couldn't help but stare at the newcomer. She nudged her brother, saying that he looked familiar and swore that she probably had seen him but can't point out when and where. Her brother just shrugged, uninterested with his sister's blabbering. The older woman then gasped when the doctor finally removed his mask. Those slit-like eyes, tall nose, thin but plump lips which mask an endearing smile, she definitely knows him.
 

"It's you!" Sooyoung exclaimed and surprised the man. "You're the man who bumped into me!"
 

"Oh, hi?" The doctor was taken aback but he managed to kindly return the gesture with a handshake. "Uhm, I'm Yook Sungjae, your sister's doctor and the man who bumped into you."
 

"You're the doctor, at our hospital too, and they didn't tell me. How nice..." Sooyoung was able to fake a smile as she reached for the doctor's hand before turning to her sibling and glaring at him.
 

"How was I supposed to know it was him?" Sehun whispered to her and returned the glare.
 

"I'm really sorry about bumping into you that day. I was just really in a hurry." Sungjae said apologetically and Sooyoung still hasn't let go of his hand.
 

"It's okay. Anyway, please take care of my sister and maybe we could get some coffee after?--"
 

"Excuse me, there is a baby coming out of me." Dahye interrupted their moment by grabbing her doctor's arm and the other to her husband's. She was already groaning and had started pushing the baby out of her system. "Oh God, it hurts so much!"
 

"Alright, you're doing great. Lie down..." Sungjae have her words of encouragement while helping her out. Although the patient and doctor were doing great being calm and cooperative, the visitors were the one panicking and getting anxious with all that's happening.
 

Sooyoung ran out of the room, calling their parents and some nurses, while Sehun just stood there, pulling on his hair and not knowing what to do. The pregnant woman kept on listening and doing Sungjae's instructions, even until she was being brought to the delivery room.

"No one comes with me. Wait outside!!" Dahye yelled at her husband and sister-in-law before they could even come close to the door.
 

"Are you sure, love--" Sehun wasn't exactly able to finish his question when his wife growled at him.
 

"NO."
 

Sungjae gave then one last apologetic look before closing the door behind him. The family members were dumbfounded yet in awe of Dahye's courage to do everything alone. They couldn't even sit down as they wait and kept on pacing back and forth, waiting for their doctor's announcement.
 

"I just hope she'll have a safe delivery..." Sehun prayed quietly, nibbling on his nails out of nervousness. It hasn't been that long when his wife entered the delivery room yet he felt like it was eternity. "She's not even screaming or groaning or whatever."
 

"She's going to be okay--" Sooyoung tried to be supportive but the doors opened interrupting their supposed touching moment.
 

"Mr. Oh?" Sungjae finally came out of the room and greeted the husband with a grin. "Congratulations. Your wife and daughter are both perfectly healthy. We'll be transferring them back to the room in a moment."
 

"W-wait...it was that fast?" Sooyoung gasped in excitement, expecting to see her niece sooner.
 

"Well, your sister was very cooperative..."
 

"Thank you." Sehun sighed in relief knowing that everything went well. He could finally breathe and smile normally again.
 

"Again, congratulations." Sungjae tapped Sehun's shoulder before turning to Sooyoung. "Oh, and does the coffee still stand? I'll need my caffeine boost after this."
 

Sooyoung went speechless for a few seconds before excitedly grinning at the doctor. "Sure...Of course! Just let me know."
 

Sungjae nodded, still keeping his eyes and smile towards her, before finally going back inside the delivery room.
 

"Oh. My. God. He just asked me out!" Sooyoung squeaked and Sehun couldn't help but chuckle at her. He just had a daughter, and his sister just had a date. It was a great day.
 

Soon enough, they found theirs elves gathering around a small infant in her mother's arms. The child was fast asleep but her small squirms and cooing was enough to make the adults adore her. Sooyoung couldn't even stop herself and recorded everything that was happening in the room.
 

"I'm so proud of you." Sehun whispered to his wife before kissing her temple. Dahye's brows furrowed and looked at him incredulously. "You were so brave and calm, and on top of that, you were alone. Not all mothers can give birth like that."
 

"Love, I didn't want you there because you two are so distracting and you put me in a panicking state too."
 

"Still...I'm amazed." Sehun insisted and planted another kiss on her forehead.
