Sehun is a bard living with other bards, spreading his music and happiness to those who will listen. When his musical talents reach the ears of King Jongin at a party the bard had been hired for, the king becomes seemingly infatuated. The king offers Sehuns enough gold to help his friends move to a safer place. And in exchange, Sehun has to come with Jongin to war and write songs about his victories. The bard accepts reluctantly despite the distaste for Jongin. Little do they both know, in their dreams, they subconsciously visit each other. There, they learn that they are soulmates, had been lovers in all of their past lives. While their dream selves remember their love and embrace it, when awake, neither of them remember. As time goes on, Sehun begins to slowly remember their past lives together and starts to wonder if Jongin does too.
