JIYONG

"You forgot already. You give it to me, right?" She weakly said, smiling. The tears that brimmed in my eyes instantly broke down like a Dam, and I bawled in front of her. I don't care if she sees me as a crying baby or a weak little Jiyong. My heart felt suffocated, and crying was the only thing that could make it better. 

"Don't cry, Ji." She whispered. I quickly lean down at her and plant a lingering kiss on her forehead. My tears still streamed down my face, and they rolled down on her face also. I carefully gathered her in my arms and sat her on my lap.  I cradled her in my arms, and I buried my face in the crook of her neck, sobbing. I don't know how long we stayed like that, with her arms wrapped around me weakly, also crying.

When I feel a little better, I distance myself from her and cap her face wiping her tears dry. I kissed her forehead again and held her to my chest again. I keep kissing the crown of her head,  with my tears rolling down my face once again. She's here. She's in my arm for real. She's not just a dream.

"I know that you are alive," I whispered. "I felt it. I always dreamed about you, but I don't know where to find you."

"Me too. I dreamed of you every night." She weakly said.

"Young master put her down." Doctor Lee said as soon as she stepped inside the room. "Her wound might open again." I quickly wiped my tears, startled, and slowly laid her down, but she held onto me.

"I won't leave. I just stay here." I whispered and kissed her forehead. Her hand weakly fell to her side, and I quickly moved away from her so that Doctor Lee could check her wound. 

"I need to open your hospital gown to change the bandage on your chest. It is okay that he was here?" 

"I just wait outside the door," I said. I don't want to see her half- in front of me. We are not that close, even though we are married. Ten years ago we only met for more or less one and a half hours, and after ten years we were only together for fours day. To sum it all up, we are still stranger to each other. 

I don't know if she felt the same with me. But if she doesn't love me as I did, I do everything to make her fall in love with me. She is my wife, and no one can change that. She's been mine since she was only nine years old, and It won't change now.

"I just wait outside and come back after Doctor Lee has done," I said and went out the door.  I leaned on the closed-door smiling, but my tears rolled down my face again.

"I finally found her." 

After ten or fifteen minutes, Doctor Lee stepped out the door. I quickly dried my tears and composed myself.

"Everything's fine right?" 

"Don't worry, young master. She's away from danger now. She only needs some rest. You can get inside now. I'll just ask someone to send food for you and Dara."

"Thank you, Doctor Lee." She just smiled and softly patted my back, then left. I went back inside the room, and Dara was lying on her bed, smiling at me. I smiled back and sat on the edge of her bed.

" How do you feel? Do you feel any pain?" I asked and brushed the stray hair away from her face.

"I'm good." She answered. "Lay  beside me, Ji." I hesitantly looked at her, but she just smiled at me. Slowly I lay beside her on my side, facing her. "Come closer." She whispered. 

"But...

"No buts, just come closer." She said, cutting me off.  I bite my lips with my heart pounding inside my chest but move closer to her. My chest is now pressed on her shoulder, and my face is a few inches away from her. Slowly she lay on her side, facing me, then she kissed my cheek.  I gasped, but she just chuckled when she saw me blush.

"What? I can't kiss my husband now." She murmured and planted another kiss on my cheek. I smiled this time and caressed her face. 

"Of course, you can, wherever you want." I smiled. She giggled that sound like music in my ears. The sound that I only heard in my dream. 

"You know I keep picturing your face in my dream because every time I dream of you, you are faceless, but the face I made up inside my mind is nothing compared to in person." She whispered with her thumb softly caressing my jaw. 

"So I'm handsome then?" I asked, grinning. She pursed her lips and shyly nodded her head. I chuckled this time. She blushed, covering her face with her both palms. I don't know that she was bol
