Mina woke up without Chaeyoung's presence beside her, again. She sighed and smiled bitterly. It has been a month since the younger went to Bilbao to personally dicuss the matters regarding their wine distillery. Chaeyoung really did not want to go but Mina talked her out of it. Chaeyoung gave up and acquiesced, she'll do anything for Mina. Also, it has been a month since they moved over to their new home. A two-storey modernized house designed by the architect herself, Son Chaeyoung. Yes, Chaeyoung designed it herself, yet the warmth of the colors limned on the walls and the soft matress she's lying or the rays of sunlight glinting through the curtains, can never subside the frigid gusts of emotion, a snowstorm, Mina felt inside. Somehow, at some point, Mina feels penitent. But she also did not want to be selfish, after all, she doesn't own Chaeyoung. Mina feels queazy, no matter how many times she shooed away her unfavorable thoughts, she can't help herself but get drown to it. She's a victim of her crime. And Chaeyoung not getting in touch with her for three days is not helping. She sluggishly do her morning routines and went to work. Approximately three hours since her working hours commence yet she's already doing it horrendously. Her workmates could only sigh at the unpleasant sight. Mina is grabbing a fistful of her hair, frustrated because her damn of a work is frazzling her. Everything seem so upsetting for Mina. "Hey M, you okay?" Nayeon asks as they entered her office. Mina glance at Nayeon with stern face, but trying herself to give out a smile. "Everything is fine," she replied softly, more like a mumble. "I say thee nay," Dahyun said out of nowhere. "What?" they all asked in chorus. "What, what? what, nothing," she smiled sheepishly. "Stop overthinking, maybe there is no reception at her place, or maybe she got eaten by a kraken—," Dahyun gasped Nayeon didn't hesitate to stare daggers at her. "What?" Dahyun asked, playing innocent card to Nayeon. "You're not helping purple-haired tofu," Nayeon rolled her eyes. "Mina, did you call her?" Sana asked. "I did, but she's not answering," Mina sank down on her swivel chair, tears starting form in her eyes. "Hey, buttercup, our mama didn't raise us to be feeble, head up, everthing's going to be alright," Nayeon tried to cheer her up. "I hope so," Mina said and smiled weakly at her friends. Mina pulled herself together and busied herself with workloads. Time flies fast and Mina didn't realize that it's getting nightfall. She looked at her window and watched the sun as it slowly fades. She polished all her works and prepared her stuffs before going home. Mina took a drive-thru at a Chinese resto, she didn't want to eat anything Korean related food. It makes her miss Chaeyoung more. She slumped herself on the couch as she arrived home. She can feel the coldness of the night, and it makes her want to hug herself tight. She hates being alone with her thoug
