Chanyeol goes back home, but his frustration doesn’t leave him. It just grew up more. He punches his boxing bag to his heart’s content and strips himself of his clothes, hopping into his shower. He scrubs his frustration out and finally walks out clad in only his PJ pants. Wrapping the sheets around him, he sinks into his comfortable bed, in deep thoughts. He pulls out the book, his favorite book, from his bedside table and skims through it again. He opens the first page and finds a sentence. There was a line that pierced his heart, deep.

“Once upon a time there was a rabbit made of ceramics. The rabbit loved a girl and it watched her dying. That rabbit swore to not make the same mistake of falling in love again. But he did. Sometimes, someone comes into your life, so unexpectedly, takes your heart by surprise, and changes your life forever. ”

The story might not be the same as his life but it still was so beautiful, just like Baekhyun, inside out. The innocence of the story says how pure he is. Sehun was right. Baekhyun is different, different from his world. He was like a different-shaped puzzle piece, fitting perfectly into his life. Unknown to him, a tear drops from his eyes. His ego was too high for so long but he can’t let it destroy him any more. All the ego, all the heater, and all the jealousy were just to hide his budding feeling for him, suppressing his feelings for him. But he couldn’t hold it anymore. He is in love; he found his true love and his first heartbreak at the same time. Chanyeol knows, Baek isn’t right for him, or maybe he isn’t right for Baekhyun. Even if he wants to, he can’t be with baek and he knows it for sure. And moreover, he is the one who feels this way. For all he knows, Baekhyun might be already fallen for his best friend.

“If there is no love, how can there be a happy ending.” He mutters as he falls asleep with his tear-stained face, oblivious to the smaller’s hidden feeling. Jimin was devastated as well, crying to sleep, just like the other two.

The next day Jimin comes to the school with swollen eyes. He refuses to speak to anyone and so does Chanyeol. He enters the school that day to the news that Baekhyun left for a week of the interschool science competition, along with all the club members, including Sehun. That fact made him even more disheartened. He didn’t even have a chance, to begin with. Sehun is a fine guy and he too, just like his smaller best friend, can’t do that to his best friend.

It was just another gloomy day for Jimin. Suga has been ignoring him for the past two days but it felt like two decades for him. He didn’t want to meet him either. He just wasn’t ready to let go. But the more he drags the more he feels suffocated. So he decided to meet him, settle everything between them.

He searches the whole campus and finally finds him in their hangout place, alone. He was playing the grand piano placed in one of the corners, a gift he got from all of them on his birthday. He stares at him as Suga counties playing Loving you, his favorite song while controlling all his emotions. When he finally looks up, Jimin takes a long breath as he walks towards him, settling down beside him. He silently stars playing Mozart’s and Suga joins, naturally synchronizing together. They play together for a while until Jimin bangs onto the piano, hitting a high note and stopping.
