Jaebum opens his eyes, still feeling groggy but he turn to reach out to Crescent, feeling against the bedsheets but the bed is empty. He sits up promptly looking around in a panic. “Crescent?” He calls out but the only reply is silence. He worriedly got dressed and headed out looking for her. With each moment passing he got more and more concerned, when he stops in his track when he hears her laugh, he follows her voice and sees her seated at the window, looking at with wide smile on her face, his face unconsciously mirrors her smile, but his face soon falters when he see the source of her laughter, The prince, Mark smiled back at her.

‘Crescent.” he called to her.

She looked up at his voice and when she spotted him a smile spread across her face and rushed to his side.

“You’re awake!” She grinned.

Jaebum smiled back at her but put himself between her and prince who also stood as he noticed Jaebum.
“Good morning.” Mark says politely

“Will you excuse us?’ Jaebum smiled back and quickly led Crescent away.

Crescent, obliviously start chattering, “You know, Prince Mark was so sweet, he came to chat to me when he noticed me wondering around. He tried so hard to speak to me, the two of us trying to speak brokenly to each other. It was so funny…” her voice trailed off. “Is something wrong?”

Jaebum doesn’t say anything and just pulls her into his arms. “I was so worried when I woke up you weren’t there.” he whispered into her hair. “Don’t be smiling so happily when I am no around.”

“Wait…” a small grin starting to appear on Crescent’s face that she tried very hard to his, “are you by chance jealous.”

Jaebum tries to play it cool, but he couldn’t hide is embarrassment, his pinks ears giving him away, “Just don’t go running to another man.”

Crescent laughs, hugging him back, “I am glad we came here.” She says, happy that she is getting to see such a different side to him.
