The door to Chanyeol's bedroom burst open and two bodies piled on top of the bed gripping Chanyeol by his shoulders and lifting him out of the covers, Baekhyun blinked up at confusion as Sehun and Jongin glared at their Alpha with disappointed facial expressions plastered on their faces. 

"What the hell are you doing in bed with another fling? You stopped doing that when Baekhyun arrived at school and I thought things were going on well with the both of you and now look at what we've walked in on!" Sehun and Jongin shouted at the top of their lungs, Baekhyun who was still beneath the covers with his head on display watched the scene with his teeth pressing into his lips to prevent himself from laughing. "Luhan and Kyungsoo came over and told us that he wasn't in his room when they woke him and Baekhyun was the last one to see you last night before you came here and hooked up with another fling!" 

"Yeah I was in their dorm room last night but-" Chanyeol tried to gesture with his hand towards the bed where he noticed the vampire grinning back up at him with an innocent expression on his face. 

"I don't want to hear your excuses you horn dog!" Sehun screamed, stepping back towards the doorway with his hands covering his ears. "This is completely disrespectful for Baekhyun, I thought you were giving him the space he needed to come to terms with wanting to be with you rather than Daehyun!" 

"Sehun-" Again the Alpha got cut off, this time Jongin took a jab at his hyung. 

"Do you at least know where he went? Luhan and Kyungsoo are scared that something happened to him and frankly I don't want him coming up to me with his switch flipped again because you two had a fight!" 

"Are you going to let me explain myself or not?" Chanyeol deadpanned, looking between his two best friends and waiting patiently for one of them to start talking. The eldest was the only one who was standing with his face in Baekhyun's direction but the vampire wished that he could see the expressions on Jongin and Sehun's face right now. 

"Not! You can say goodbye to your fling because you're helping us find Baekhyun and you're going to apologise to him or so help me I will be the one breaking your nose this time!" Sehun hissed, sending his Alpha a glare not even bothering to send the 'fling' in Chanyeol's bed a glance. 

"Are you going to stay here while I say goodbye to him then?" Chanyeol wondered, tilting his head in curiosity. Baekhyun watched as shivers ran through the backs of the boys standing with their backs to him, his hands came up to his lips hoping to muffle the laugh he so desperately wanted to get out. 

"Of course we are!" Jongin screamed, throwing his arms around like a crazy person. Baekhyun couldn't deny the fact that morning's in Chanyeol's dorm might become a natural thing if this was the sort of drama the Alpha had to deal with on a daily basis. "We don't want you two doing anything else while Baekhyun's still out there with no emotions!" 

"Fair enough" Chanyeol shrugged his shoulders deciding to paly along with the concept that his best friend's had dreamt up when he was trying to explain things to them. Baekhyun expected the two boys to turn their heads and watch as Chanyeol 'said goodbye' to him but when ythey didn't the vampire decided to have his own fun with the situation. 

He waited until Chanyeol had crawled up the bed to his side before pulling the wolf into an opened mouthed kiss, he made sure to release a couple overexaggerated whimpers before pulling away with a pout forming on his lips. He watched helplessly as Chanyeol hungrily his lips and sent him a wink before shifting back into charcter. 

"I'm sorry but you heard them baby, I have some important business to attend to right now." 

Baekhyun allowed another disapproval noise to generate from the back of his throat, his eyes locked with the backs of the other wolves whose shoulders were risen in tension. He rose his hand to his lips and quietly laughed into the palm of his hands, Chanyeol's eyes sparkling while watching with the brightest smile on his lips. 

"I can come back later night tonight, right?" he asked, hoping that his voice was altered as much as he tried to allow it. He faintly heard Jongin let out a scoff and he couldn't help but beam at the sound, content that the wolves weren't allowing Chanyeol to cheat on him regardless of their opened relationship. 

"My bedroom door is alway open to you baby" Chanyeol stated, his own hand travelling to his lips to stop himself from cracking. Baekhyun playfully hit his chest and giggled, allowing the sound to be his response to the Alpha's statement. "you know that even if I wasn't here you're more than welcome." 

"Then I'll stop over later!" Baekhyun was determined to drive Sehun and Jongin crazier, but he had already exhausted every option. A very dangerous answer came into his head and without thinking about it or its consequences Baekhyun blurted it with a sneak wink in Chanyeol's direction. "But honestly Chanyeol I'm sure Baekhyun won't need you to keep running to his rescue him anymore, I'm sure he's more than capable of minding himself now." 

"Oh he did not just-" Sehun growled but Baekhyun's plan foiled when the wolf didn't give him the satifiation of turning around, he released a sigh and accepted Chanyeol's hand and used it to help him pull himself out of the warm bed sheets. 

Chanyeol watched as the vampire sent the covers a pout, his fungers running across the material of the bedsheets before drawing it to his chest and looking Chanyeol in the eye. "You want me to come back right?" 

"Of course I do" the Alpha admitted, not even daring to play the game now because his words were laced with sincerity. Baekhyun forgot about what they were doing just seconds ago and smiled, standing on his tip toes and pressing his lips against Chanyeol's. 

Oh yeah, he could definitely get used to that. 

He his lips and sent Chanyeol a nod, mentally telling him that he was ready to get back to his friends. Her didn't realise that Luhan and Kyungsoo would be looking for him with that particular mindset and Baekhyun knew that he couldn't allow them to cause havoc in the school in their search for him. 

"I better get back to my dorm then, my roommates are more than likely wondering where I am." Baekhyun muttered against the Alpha's lips, Chanyeol pressing one more peck on them before stepping back completely. 

"I'll see you in a bit yeah?" The Alpha smiled and stepped to the side, Baekhyun releasing a laugh as he nodded his head. 

Within the blink of an eye Baekhyun propelled himself out of the Alpha's dorm and back into the hallway where Luhan and Kyungsoo where getting ready to leave in search of him, their eyes widened when they realised that he was standing before them after having sped himself from wherever he was. 

"Baekhyun!" Luhan shouted, pulling the vampire into his embrace and holding onto him tightly as Kyungsoo let out a breath of relief. "You scared us, where the hell have you been?" 

"What's all the commotion?" Jongin asked opening the door to the dorm Baekhyun had just snuck out of without anyone noticing him, the werewolf laid his eyes on him and screamed in delight. "Baekhyun thank goodness!" 

"Your emotions are still intact right?" Sehun wondered from behind Jongin, using the poor wolf as a shield since neither of them had gotten over the last time Baekhyun had flipped his switch. "Goodness please tell me your emotions are on!" 

"Why are you all yelling so early in the morning!" Chanyeol hissed opening the door wider so that he stook tall next to Jongin, Baekhyun sent him a quick glance noticing that they were still playing their game. 

Kyungsoo pressed his hands against his best friend's shoulders and turned him around so the he was facing him rather than the Alphas, Baekhyun's body working faster as his eyes flickered to silver to allude to the hunger he felt when he had flipped his switch. The warlock classed witch let out a gasp as he stumbled backwards into Luhan's hold, the vampire holding him close as they stared at Baekhyun in horror. The vampire wanted to stop the play since he didn't like being the reason his best friend's were worried but he and Chanyeol had gone so far that what was a little more? 

"No!" Sehun yelled out into the air, his hands forming fists as he threw his head back between his shoulders. Baekhyun flicked his gaze to Chanyeol's who watched as the boy's eyes flicked from brown to silver, practically his signal for being hungry. 

With a deep chuckle rising from the back of his throat Chanyeol stepped forward and held out his arm, Baekhyun's lips curled upwards and he pounced forward his fangs bared before he allowed them to puncture into the Alpha's forearm. He could feel Chanyeol's fingers run through his hair and he couldn't hold himself back anymore, his free hand reached up and pulled Chanyeol's from his head and interwind their fingers. He blinked up to the Alpha and Chanyeol couldn't help but laugh at him, when Baekhyun got enough for himself to function properly he retracted his fangs allowing his lips to fall onto the puncture wounds. 

"Feel better now baby?" Chanyeol wondered, a brow raised in Baekhyun's direction. His silent way of telling him that he wasn't going to be playing their game any more and the vampire was beyond happy that it was over because after tasting Park Chanyeol's lips continuously (before they got interrupted) for ten minutes, they were hard to resist now. 

"Thanks giant.." Baekhyun offered him a small smile before they connected their lips and showed off their relationship development to those in the hallway with them, the vampire was almost certain he heard a body hit the floor from the shock.

"Are you guys okay?" Kris had asked the four walking zombies whose eyes were wide and bulging out of their sockets, Jongin, Sehun, Luhan and Kyungsoo stared at the Alpha but weren't able to say anything. They were still in utter shock from what happened outside their dorms that morning, since the only facts they knew about Chanbaek's relationship was that they were slowly getting better and had come to terms with the fact that they were mates. Now they were kissing each other and willingly sharing blood in front of them, this was definitely an upgrade. 

The couple waited until everyone else were already on the bus that would bring them to one of the villages Ms Lee had personally picked for their shopping escapade from their school, each of them had received a further 200 dollars in cash. Baekhyun had brought with him the money he had still yet to spend from the last time they journeyed into the villages that time they got burgers and milkshakes. 

"Hi Eomma" Baekhyun smiled looking the woman in the eye as he cautiously addressed the woman by the name that he had in his dream. Chanyeol's mother stared at him in utter shock, her jaw dropped while her eyes bulged from their sockets. "is it still okay that I call you that?" 

Chanyeol watched with a grin on his lips as his mother struggled to speak, her shock taking a toll on her body as she collapsed into Baekhyun's arms and held him tight. He could hear her sobs as she attempted to pull the boy closer, the vampire letting out little giggles through the tears in his eyes. 

"I'll take that as a yes?" 

"Of course you can!" Ms Lee laughed, pulling away to wipe away her tears. She was smiling sadly at Baekhyun, keeping eye contact with the boy before he started to become shy and turned into his mate's chest and hid his face in Chanyeol's collarbone. "It's been so long since you've called me that, I apologise for being so shocked." 

"I understand, I just came out and said it without warning you." Baekhyun chuckled nervously, his fingers gripping at the skin of his nape. Chanyeol's hand came up and pulled it away and entangled their fingers together before turning to his mother whose seemed fearful by the action. 

"We haven't done anything relax" he promised, even going as far as to drag his finger across his chest in an X formation. "we've kissed and confessed our true feelings-" 

"Chanyeol you can't tell him you love him you've doomed your life!" Ms Lee's voice cracked as she stared into her son's eyes with tears filling her own. 

"Eomma we haven't said that to each other" Baekhyun reassured the sobbing woman who gasped at the words he was saying. "we've addressed our feelings in another way, want to show her?" 

"I hate you" Chanyeol spoke without needing to consider it, he pressed his lips to Baekhyun's forehead while the vampire leaned into his touch. 

"I hate you too" Baekhyun laughed before pecking the boy on the lips, his gaze fell back on Ms Lee whose lips had gotten rid of the frown and turned into a beautiful bright smile. 

"Oh thank goodness" she cried, her hands clutching her chest as her eyes flittered from Chanyeol to Baekhyun and back again. "you guys have developed more brain cells this life time huh?" 

"Just give us our envelopes so we can go shopping." Chanyeol deadpanned, holding his hand out with his palm side up. 

"Alright here you go" she laughed passing the two white envelopes into Chanyeol's hands, she watched as her son walked up the stairs of the bus first before calling Baekhyun one more time before joined him in the vehicle. "could you say it one more time? I'm sorry it's just been so long-" 

"Thank you for everything you've done for me Eomma, you kept my father's promise and for that I will always be grateful." Baekhyun felt his heavy heart get lighter at the sight of his principal, queen and mother-in-law wiped her tear stained cheeks with the widest smile he had ever seen on her face. 

"Thank you" she croaked and nodded her head, Baekhyun taking this as his permission to get on the bus. Chanyeol met him at the top of the stairs offering him his hand and together they  took the first row seats right behind the driver, they were going to make new memories together.
