"Hold my hand tight. As tight as you can. Cuz from now on we have to run. So that we see everything." he said. "Don't be scared of tasting the sweetness of the world. I will make sure you have everything." He smiled.

But I was scared.

Not because of him, but to face the world. To face them. To face the people.

But there he was, to hold me, to be with me, to make me happy, just for me.

I hesitated, but then I held his hand. As tight as I could.

Foreword

"She is such a !"

"I bet she seduced her seniors to promote herself. Lol."

"She is pretty, it’s obvious she used it in her favour. Bet she is spreading legs for everyone she meets.”

I slammed the laptop close.

I don't understand why this is affecting me so much. Why are these comments hurting me so much? All my hard work is being slammed.

Why? Why me?

Before I realised, frustrated tears started falling on it’s own.

I was about to wipe my tears when my door slammed open and Jisoo-unnie came in. As soon as she saw my tear striked cheeks she rushed to my side.

"I just knew it. I knew it, now was not the right time." She said while pulling me into her infamous bear hug. "Aigoo, Jennie-ah, look at your face, you look like a pabo.” She rubbed the tears away. “Don't cry. We are always with you, it doesn't matter what they say. Haters will never have the end of it.” I cried silently. “Calm down, sweetheart. You have to go for a performance at Inkigayo tomorrow. You will get sick if you cry so much." She held my face in between her palms and pressed my cheeks making me look like a fish. She smiled at me and pulled me out of my bed.

"Tomorrow at the Inkigayo, I will be there as MC and our maknaes are going to be there. So don't worry. okay?" she said while walking towards the kitchen. I just nodded.

"Lisa is cooking Thai for you," she said while she held my hand and took me to the kitchen, "so cheer up."

On entering I saw both Rose and Lisa holding my favourite dish- Pad thai! With a smile like theirs as bright as sunlight, who could resist not to smile back. Seeing me smile their smile grew wider.

Even though I show I am okay, it still hurts. A stinging pain is left in my heart. But I smile, for them I have to.

And yet again I sleep with tears in my eyes.
