Description
Byun Baekhyun is at a dead end. His career may be going well, his popularity may be growing by the day, but that doesn't change one small fact. He misses the normal conversations he used to have, the small talk, the lasting interaction with another person. The last real friends he had were two boys named Kim Jongin and Do Kyungsoo. But after an accident occoured and their trust for one another was lost, Baekhyun turns to the devouring pit of guilt.
When a certain CEO becomes involved in the young man's already hectic life, can either of their hearts be mended, or their trust rebuilt? As a number of occasions seem to bring them together, it looks more like they are meant to be in one another's life, rather than their meetings being a mere coincidence. However, when their views of each other begin to change, can their new found belief in a happy ending stand the test, or will the illusion of love crumble before their eyes?

Foreword
Korea didnt know what had hit it when Byun Baekhyun arrived in the country at 16. After leaving his parents behind in America, the young boy chased after his dreams in the bright city of Seoul. Not a penny in his pocket, no korean in his vocabulary, just him and a bag containing his belongings. Though he didn't have much with him and had no clear goal lined up for his future self to achieve, he new what he needed to do in the moment.
Baekhyun spent a few months staying with Kim Jongin, a family friend, learning basic korean before taking a risk. The day after he turned seventeen the young lad walked up to the doors of one of the biggest entertainment companies: Six Figures Entertainment
He was accepted, so beginning the 4 years of mental torment called 'training' - he was quick to realise his mentors were making him ready for the jaws of hell.
On February 18th 2017 he entered them as he made his debut with the hit album 'Fix Me,' featuring the tiltle track, 'Melt My Heart.' His instantanious success made Baekhyun the hottest, most talked about Asian Idol of the time. From then on, his popularity has grown and grown, now making Byun Baekhyun one of the biggest rising stars.
Park Chanyeol is probably one of the few people not so happy about the other's advances in the industry. As the CEO of Lightning Entertainment, he is determined to make his artists the best out there. The money-thirsty man has no limits when it comes to being the greatest.
"There is no competition for me. I- We are the best!" He murmered as he watched the companies stocks rise.
But a little problem may occour as the two famous, extremely different men become tangled in a mess only fate could've designed.
I know I used the 'comedy' tag but that's my humour, so it's probably not that funny to most other people, but I hope you enjoy this little adventure into the Chanbaek world

And yes, this fic was originally meant to be all about NCT, (so im also writing this on the NCT amino) but no one reads any NCT fics on here apparently so I'm having to stick to EXO (but i love them so it's fine)
