Jimin let out a deep breath before rolling his eyes, "What do you want from me? Why here of all places?"

Taehyung was staring at the well-dressed male whose entire outfit was worth more than himself. His body slightly shook from the freezing winter air flowing through the holes in his jacket. As he opened his mouth to speak, the chattering of his teeth became more apparent. "How?"

The older scoffed becoming more annoyed, "How what?" Jimin placed his hands in his coat pockets. "Look if you're still mad about getting fired that was your fault-"

The younger spoke again, "How did you do it?" Taehyung took quick inhales of breath that barely made his pants visible in the cold winter wind. "We came from the same part of town; your family is just as poor as mine and yet you're rich." The wind slowing began to pick up blowing fresh snow onto the already covered cars and rooftops. The taller shivered fiercely from the lack of clothes. "Y-You were the lowest ranked in class but yet you're the one who's rich." Taehyung laughed bitterly at the realization. The fact that he worked harder than the person in front of him and always did things correctly, but he's the one struggling to even stay alive. He went to college and topped his entire grade but still can't find a job and has thousands to pay in college debt. "H-How did you do it?"

Jimin stared at the younger for a moment questioning, "Why should I tell you? We're not even friends and besides, I don't trust you."

Taehyung fell to his knees, He was done with trying to be the bigger person and doing the right thing. He was sick of always being the only one to give and getting nothing in return. Life was becoming to impossible to live playing by the rules, doing the right thing. The male never gained anything from it all was debt, being fired, and his long-time girlfriend dumping him. He was now willing to do what it takes to live like the older.

"I'm sick of being the one working hard, playing by the rules, doing the right thing, and for what? I'm always the one getting nothing! I'm tired of being poor and not having money to buy anything! Do you know what it's like to walk past shops and not being able to get a single thing? Do you?" Taehyung could feel the snow on the ground soaking into his thin layer of pants. He was extremely cold and wished he could afford to buy something warmer. "My family kicked me out because they could afford to stay in the house I grew up in, and the new house didn't have enough room for me! I'm literally a week away from living on the streets... is this what I get for all I've done? I never did anything to hurt anyone and always tried my best-" Tears gathered in his eyes, threating to fall at any second. "Please!" He begged "Please tell me how you did it! I want to be able to buy whatever I want without needing to save weeks in advance! I want to be like you and live freely... and not be restricted because of money."

Jimin watched the person he grew up hating and envying because of his grades and talent crumble in front of him. But for some reason watching Taehyung break didn't make him smile, instead, it made him want to help the male. Seeing how broken the younger really was, jump-started an unknown spark inside of him. "Okay" The taller glanced up at the single word. "I'll tell you how but know that after this you're on your own, I can not help you." Taehyung nodded, anything was better than nothing. Jimin reached into his satchel and handed the other a red book. "This is everything to me, once you achieve what you desired, give this back to me. All of what you need to know is in here; I will get you started but that's it."

Taehyung stared down at the scarlet book that was held closed by a thick cord with a tiny clock connected. "Thank you so much!"

The older gave a weak smile, "I hope you don't regret this..."
