Chapter 1: this is soooo good!! ugh just from the first scene i knew i was going to love this, and esp this line: "she wondered, once the news had been delivered and she stood reverently in the empty throne room, if that overwhelming and preternatural serenity had been her brother's final gift" was beautiful & so impactful.

i really like the way you've built and shown us joohyun's world, and show her quiet strength as well as her struggles with being a royal in the public eye. i feel like a lot of fics i've seen w the royalty storyline that veer into the marriage territory tend to hyperfocus on the love triangle part of things, so it's refreshing to see the spotlight on joohyun navigating her place in the monarchy now!

Chapter 1: THIS IS AMAZING. i really want to say more but its just...wow. im out of words. the characters seem so real, and although monarchy is obviously not korea’s type of government right now, the events portrayed here still seem realistic. and that bit with taehyung in the garden really pulled my heartstrings.

the update was definitely worth the wait. looking forward to the next chapter!!

Chapter 1: oooh what a start! i love joohyun sm! she feels so real - i like that she’s introverted but also still headstrong! i think oftentimes authors often write off introverts as shy/weak willed but u didn’t do that which i like! there’s a lot of tension rn w the current political climate and i like how u described how “hated” the royal family r by the general public. it’s add a nice touch of realism to it imo

I am rly looking forward to seeing what’ll happen now that she’s declined seokjin’s proposal!!
