Fearing the consequences after hearing the King's words, Soohyun fled out of the palace without having much thought. She only has two things on her mind—find the treasure and find a pirate to help her with it.

Knowing about pirates is one thing, reading things about them is another one, knowing how dangerous and cunning they could be would be another, but willingly handing yourself to them is a one kind of insane thought. 

And Soohyun is willing to risk it all, all for her people and to stop the King's plans. 

 

Hi there everyone! Writing a pirate!au fic has always been a dream of me lol. It's my first time writing one so I hope you guys would like it. I've read pirate!au fics and they were absolutely good that I was immensely inspired to write one hahaha. This one would be featuring Byun Baekhyun (we all know how cute he really is but pirate Baek would be really nice once in a while lol) so here ya gooooo!

It also motivates me to continue writing because most of the time I'd have a writer's block and that is probably the worst thing that could happen for this fic. Chapter 34: I just wanna say, you did an amazing job characterizing Soohyun! A big part of her demeanor is reflective of the abuse that she underwent, and you consistently display how she constantly feels the need to justify herself, worries that she made someone angry, and always apologizes and second guesses herself. It's brilliant how rather than making her victimhood glaringly obvious, you reveal it through her behavior! On the surface it just appears that she is timid and has little to no confidence, which is true, but when we the readers really think about it, we quickly understand that the root cause of her behavior is the abuse she was subjected to by her family. It makes it so much exciting to read and anticipate her growth. Especially with this chapter, I am so excited to see herself no longer hold herself back and and truly become the person she is meant to be. This story is so exciting to read and I can't wait to read the upcoming chapters!!!
