Meet U is a newly opened dating app for all east Asian celebrities. The app houses all genders and ualities, allowing everyone to find their special someone. While the main focus of the app is dating, many people find it useful for a variety of purposes. Whether you’re looking to hook up, explore your uality, or find your happily ever after; Meet U is perfect for you!

On top of it’s social platform capabilities, Meet U also offers a matchmaking service for it’s users. Every week Meet U sorts through it’s participating users and pairs them up on blind dates with each other. This gives everyone a chance to find exactly what they are looking for without the hassle of wandering around aimlessly. This service is completely optional but highly encouraged by Meet U to get the full experience.

how it works

- Every Saturday, Meet U will ask who wants to be on the next blind dates list. If you would like to be on the list, you must answer the post’s questions and you will be paired up with someone for the list that Sunday. If you want to be on the list but forget to sign up and the list has already been published, you will only be added if there are an odd number of people. Otherwise, you will have to wait for the next match up – in the meanwhile, you can still use the app to make connections.

- Every Sunday there will be a new published list of those who got paired up with the help of Meet U. As there will be no dating profiles or any kind of introduction of the users, the dates will be blind dates. After the list has been published you will have until the next Saturday to either date the person you got paired up with or not. No one will be forced to date the person they got paired up with, however no changes will be made; so if you feel like it wont work with the chosen person for you, you will have to wait until next week to be on that list.

- Meet U encourages it’s users to at least participate in the first blind date before giving up on the pairing. *** Since your character does not know who they are being paired with until the first blind date, it will be considered mixing if your character doesn’t go on the date because of who they are paired up with. Your character should be unaware of who they are paired with until the blind date starts.

- If you would like to continue dating a person that you get paired up with, you are allowed to do so and you will not have to sign up for the next list. You also don’t have to tell Meet U if you don’t want to be on the next list. The list and the blind dates are optional and if you want to keep dating a person or if you want to wait a week or longer before you date someone, then that is okay.

- Meet U is still a dating site, you are allowed to connect, hookup, and date without the help of Meet U’s matching service. However it’s encouraged for you to give the matching service a chance at least once.

- You are also allowed to just hang out with others, so even though Meet U is a dating site, your character still has their life to live and dating isn’t everything.

rules & regulations

01. You must be OOC to join. All characters must be as well.

02. No OOC drama whatsoever.

03. Drugs, abuse, , and engagement/marriage will be treated with strict caution. While all pregnancies are not allowed. Drugs/abuse//etc must be kept private and agreed upon between role players. Engagement/marriage should be treated as non-achievable between same couples in South Korea & damaging to your character’s careers for straight couples. Remember that all characters are still idols, be realistic.

04. No god-modding or meta-gaming.

05. you are expected to have at least one public post every 7 days. This doesn’t include display picture updates – status updates and new public threads do count.

06. You are required to have a basic grasp on your character’s real life schedule, relationships, and personality. Some flexibility is allowed since we can’t know everything for sure.

07. Do not mix talking on the app and talking in person. For example, you shouldn’t be using emojis or emoticons when your character is face to face with another character. Likewise, your character can not physically interact with another character over SNS/PM unless both characters meet up in person. Action or para role playing is allowed, however your replies should always be at least four lines/sentences.

08. Relationships should not happen within a few days of knowing someone. While the matchmaking service is available to everyone no matter how long they’ve been on the app, your character must be on the app for at least 2 weeks before jumping into a closed relationship.

09. Blind dates will not be set up between group mates. If your character is looking to go on a date with one of their group mates, they will have to set it up themselves. This includes ex-members as well. p*zzw*rd is today's date.

10. Even though this is a role play based on dating, we still expect you to have conversations and threads going on with others too. You should not be seen only role playing with your weekly dates or your character’s significant other.

11. All public posts should begin with some variation of {SNS - @yourusernamehere}. Private messages are assumed to be in character DMs unless OOC brackets are used.

12. We run on a 3 strike system. If any of the rules on this page are broken, you will receive a strike. The admins will never remove someone from the role play without them being aware of why and having a chance to redeem themselves. We will always discuss with you conditions of being removed, if you’d like a second chance, or what can be done.
