Minhyuk felt a massive headache as soon as he opened his eyes the next morning after their night out. He didn't remember how he got to his bed, but seeing their family picture pinned up to the wall adjacent to his bed, he concluded that it's definitely his bedroom. He rolled to the side of his bed and saw a glass of water with a pill on his bedside table.

"Next time don't drink more than you can handle"

Minhyuk read on the note beside the water glass. At first, he thought it was Yongsun. He already felt giddy without even reading the initials on the note.

"-MB"

He felt a little dismayed that it wasn't his girlfriend, but he found himself smiling at the thought that his sister took care of him when he was drunk last night.

He grew up wishful thinking that Byul would come home to their house since he was a little kid. And now, her sister is finally living with them with their mother. And she even takes care of him when he's drunk. He knows it's too soon but he's already dreading the day they finish college and Byul would leave them again to take over their father's company.

He then heard a knock on his door.

"Come in." he shouts, too lazy to even check who it was.

"Look, who's finally awake." Moonbyul notes, peeking in before completely letting herself in.

"Hey." Minhyuk greeted with a smile.

Moonbyul returned a smile as enthusiastic as his brother's. "Hello, brother. How are you feeling?"

"Terrible." Minhyuk replied, earning a chuckle from his twin.

"Why? Do you remember mom's face when you puked on her favorite vase?" Moonbyul asked.

The horror on Minhyuk's face was indescribable as if his life flashed through his eyes in a second, before he hears a laugh coming from Moonbyul.

"I was just kidding." Moonbyul says teasingly in between laughs. "You should've seen your face." she says before looking up to see his brother's reaction once more.

But instead, she was struck by a pillow straight at her face.

It was Minhyuk's turn to laugh. "You should've seen your face." Minhyuk mimics her playfully.

"That hurt!" Moonbyul exclaimed. "I am so telling Mom!"

"What are you, twelve?" Minhyuk asks. These were the kind of moments that they missed growing up. Minhyuk only dreamed of having this kind of sibling banter with her sister.

They both realized it was such a trivial thing, and yet these are the exact moments they know they'll treasure forever.

"Wait-" Minhyuk exclaimed, telling Byul that his attention is already diverted at something else. "Did Yongsun get home safe last night?" He scolded himself for being so drunk that he didn't even think of making sure that Yongsun got home safe.

The mention of Yongsun dampened Byul's mood unexpectedly. It wasn't because she wasn't fond of the woman. It was just that they're having a good time, but now she's reminded that there are some things that they need to address before they could continue a good relationship.

"She shared the guest room with Wheein last night." Moonbyul replied.

Minhyuk sighed in relief.

"Another reason why shouldn't drink more than you can handle." Moonbyul commented.

"Don't say it as if you're not worse than me. Last night was an exemption for you, Byul, not a norm." Minhyuk remarked teasingly. There are a lot of times when they would video call and Byul's drunk as heck.

"But I don't have a girlfriend that I need to tend to, do I?" Byul replies back.

Minhyuk could only nod. "Fair enough."

There was another knock. It was their mom. "Moonbyul, I thought you were just going to wake your brother up. Yongsun's waiting at the table. She's waiting for you to join her."

"Did you cook the breakfast, Mom?" Minhyuk asked with a grin on his face like a little kid. He always loved his mom's cooking. Their mom has been a little busy with work lately that he had to settle for Moonbyul's attempt at cooking. Not that he minds, but he wouldn't complain if he's able to intake decent meals once in a while.

"Yes, and Yonsun helped me, so you better get up and get your out there."

"My darlings, I need to go early, I have a meeting today." The twins' mother stated before getting up the dining table and getting on her way to work, leaving the Minhyuk, Moonbyul and Yongsun alone at the table as they eat breakfast.

Moonbyul wasn't as talkative as she usually is. Instead, she eats her meal as she observes the couple in front of her.

They were a good couple. Moonbyul notes to herself. "You two look good together," she says, catching Minhyuk and Yongsun's attention, but garnering different reactions.

"What are you doing?" Yongsun didn't say it out loud but it was definitely what she's thinking judging by the look she shot Moonbyul.

"We are, aren't we?" Minhyuk says proudly with a smile plastered from ear to ear.

Moonbyul only nods and takes a bite at her food.

Moonbyul realizes, as she eats there in front of her brother and his girlfriend, that she wasn't the same person she was before.

She wasn't the same Moonbyul that thinks life is too short to not get what she wants, no matter the repercussions. She once believed that you learn to live with your mistakes rather than learn from them. But she realized how wrong she was. You need to live with your mistakes after you learn from them.

And maybe, Moonbyul has a lot of learning to catch up to.

And maybe the first lesson is how to control her emotions to avoid hurting other people.

Maybe it was her newfound moral, or maybe it was simply because the boyfriend in question is his brother. But if it were any other instance, Moonbyul
