Description

Taemin's sadness after Jonghyun's death broke him into a hundred tiny pieces scattered everywhere. He doesn't know how to heal and where to even start. But then Jongin enters his life and starts picking him up.

Foreword

This has been my therapy-writing for the past few months and it's finally finished.

It's a bit difficult to tag, so please, be extremely careful.

It contains some personal thoughts & views but most important of all, it treats heavily of Jonghyun's passing and the pain it triggered.

It is also an alternative universe where Jongin isn't in EXO and Taekai aren't friends in the beginning. It contains some fantasy / magical elements.

Chapter 1: Even it was a hard story to read at the beginning, but I found comfort on it at the same time.. This is so beautiful and well written. The way you describe the characters is just so healing <3 I'm glad that I decided to read it. Taekai always have a soft spot in my heart.. I'm eager now to another story from you maybe about how Taemin comfort Jongin when he lost his father :(

this is just so beautiful, thank you for writing this.

the conceit that jonghyun and jongin are empaths works so well because they really are people who seem to be able to read others' emotions very well and provide both honesty and comfort. it's also something i haven't really come across in shinee fic before so kudos for coming up with a really original concept!

it goes without saying that taemin is written so well - his introspective nature, the flashes of temper - because it's you and you've always written them well.

you said in the AN that this was therapy-writing for you. i hope it brought you some measure of comfort because it was very, very comforting to read. i will definitely be back to re-read this in the coming days.
