Jisoo’s had a long day. After a day full of training her colleagues in their Jeju satellite office, her flight back to Seoul is on the same day and just a couple of hours after her shift ends. Bobby volunteered to drop Jisoo and her boss off at the airport after their work hours as he wanted to properly say goodbye to his new friend.

When they arrived at the airport, their boss excused himself to check in for both him and Jisoo and left the two alone.

“Don’t forget what we’ve talked about alright?” Bobby said grinning

Jisoo nodded “I’ll give it a try. Wish me luck?”

“I’m sure you won’t need it but good luck still. I hope when we talk again you’ll tell me how great it is to have a girlfriend”

The thought of Jennie being her girlfriend made Jisoo blush so hard that she had to avert Bobby’s gaze to ineffectively hide her red face. “Geez, I’m just gonna ask her out, or rather agree to go out with her, Bobby, you’re way ahead of time”

“That’s where it will lead anyway” Bobby shrugged

Before Jisoo could respond, their boss came back with their tickets in hand. Jisoo was a bit sad that her time together with Bobby was a bit short but she was glad she made a new friend in him. They’ve somehow developed a genuine bond that even if they didn’t know each other that long, they both know they’ll be there for one another if need be.

“Alright, I think it’s time for you to go”

“Thank you Bobby, not just for showing me around but also because somehow you give really great pieces of advice”

“No problem at all Jisoo. I’ll always be just a text or phone call away if you need more of my brilliant advice”

Jisoo rolled her eyes at Bobby’s playful attempt to be cocky “And the same goes for you if you ever need to talk to anyone”

Bobby chuckled “Thanks, Jisoo. I’ll keep that in mind”

With a bouquet of flowers in hand, Jennie patiently waits for Jisoo to arrive at the airport. She went straight to the airport from work to pick the other girl up and she doesn’t know why but she’s nervous. Maybe it has something to do with Jisoo’s text message to her before she boarded the plane. She checked her phone to re-read the text hoping she’d be able to figure out what Jisoo wanted to say

Chichu <3: We’re boarding now Jen. See you later. I have something to tell you. Or ask you.

Anxious thoughts are filling Jennie’s mind and unfortunately for her, most of these thoughts are negative. ‘God what if she fell in love with that Bobby guy?” Jennie said to herself. When she saw Jisoo’s flight number had arrived, she abruptly stood up, excited and nervous to see the other girl.

After a few minutes, Jisoo finally came out and she immediately grinned when she saw Jennie. “Hi” Jennie said breathily, she doesn’t know whether to hug Jisoo or kiss her or both so she settled in giving her the flowers first “These are for you” she said holding the boquet to Jisoo

“Thanks, Jen. For the flowers and for picking me up.”

“It’s only been 3 days but I’ve missed you so much” Jennie said before finally enveloping the other girl in a hug

Jisoo instantaneously hugged her back “I know. I’ve missed you too”

Jennie pulled back a little to look at Jisoo “Really?” she smiled

“Really” Jisoo smiled back at her

It was enough to somehow make Jennie forget about her anxious thoughts because her mind is now filled with the fact that Jisoo missed her too.

“Come, let’s get you home, you must be really tired”

While they were inside Jennie’s car on their way to Jisoo’s apartment, Jisoo was oddly quiet and was deep in her own thoughts that made Jennie anxious once again.

“Jisoo?”

“Hmm?”

“Are you okay? You seem quiet”

“Ahh, yeah, I was just thinking about something” Jisoo bit her lip. Truth be told, she’s nervous to what she’s about to say to Jennie. She doesn’t know how to tell her and she has no idea what she’s doing.

“About what?”

Jisoo sighed heavily. It’s now or never, she can do it and she has to do it now and get it over with.

“Jen I’ve been thinking….” She trailed while fiddling her fingers

“Thinking about what?”

“About that thing you asked me”

Jennie gulped hard, her heart beating fast. She kept quiet and signaled for Jisoo to continue

“About us going out? Like on a real date?”

Jennie kept her focus on the road trying to ignore the rapid beat
