Description

Sungjong is so desperate it hurts. He wants someone to be there for him, he doesn't want to be alone. But he knows, there will never be someone that he can trust.

Foreword

This is me attempting to 'return to my roots' so to speak. My first Infinite fic in a long while.

This...this is old and also really important to me. I started writing this back in 2015, with Eddy Kim's Artificial Flower being the inspiration. It has survived 3+ years of contemplated deletion and my moving on from mainly writing Infinite fics. I've kept a few others over the years and maybe I'll also work up the motivation to complete those as well.

Please, remember that although is fiction, that idols are people too and that words, even those spoken by us hiding behind usernames, hurt.
