"Is he bothering you?" Jongin asked his younger sister, his tone sounded serious and concerned. He knew she likes the guy as he had seen her baking for him almost every day during her freshman year. Also, how could he forget the Graduation Day? He was eyeing the two, watching his sister speaking only to be dismissed by the guy and left her just like that. He should've run after him and beat his face in an instant but Jennie turned to look at him with a smile on her face, yet there were tears on her eyes. He sighed deeply at the memory and opened the door of her car.

"Of course not. Mr. Song is just asking for some errands from me." Jennie reasoned and got into the driver's seat of her car. "Oppa, mom wants you to come home. It's been days since the last time you went there." She added and Jongin only replied with a small smile. "Ya. What you're doing is unfair. If you're angry at dad, please don't isolate yourself from me and mom too."

Jongin let out an inward sigh followed by a nod. He gestured her to go home as he closed the door of her car. As much as he wants to see their mother, he can't. He's not ready to come home again. Not yet. "Take care, Jennie. Say 'Hi' to mom for me." He said and when his younger sister bid goodbye, he watched as she drives away.

Back to the classroom, Mino couldn't help but think about what just happened earlier. At the departure of the school girl along with her older brother who the professor surely saw shot a glare at him, he closed his eyes and leaned against the teacher's desk inside of the empty classroom with palms placed against the desk to support himself as he pulled back his head to stare blankly at the white-painted ceiling. What a perfect way to start the beginning of the school year. He sighed and glance around his environment before tracing his thoughts back to the present whilst he gather his things around to go to his room at the faculty office. The memory of this first-day-of-his-job will be surely stuck in the long run inside his brain, and he jokingly thought to himself how the story would be passed to his grandchildren one day.

In his relief, the faculty office only had a few professors who were mostly the newbie ones like him. One is the youngest female which bid him goodbye, and the male who seems to have a crush on her which explains the deathly glare shot to his direction which he replied with a I-don't-know gesture before entering his room. He wasn't intrigue with the idea of romantic relationships right now, in fact, he never does. It's not that he is gay, he did got involve with a few flings throughout his student life and even a one night stand during a college party --- drunk enough to even remember the story in the morning. He organizes his bag and lock the door in his room before going home. It will be hell of a long night of thinking.

Jennie arrives at home past 7pm. She greeted her parents and skipped dinner. After what happened earlier at the university, she had lost the appetite to eat.

She went straight to her room and locked it, playing loud music so no one would hear her if ever she starts crying. She laid down on the bed and stared at the glow-in-the-dark moons and stars stickers on the ceiling. "Why can't you like me back?" She asked, her voice sounded hoarse. She couldn't help but think about Mino's words, especially those that caused her pain before and are still causing her heartache now. Tears began to stream down her eyes and she silently cried. She had lost count of how many times she had cried over him. She wanted her feelings for him to disappear because at the end of the day, who would want to chase after someone who obviously doesn't like you, right?

The date with him will be her last straw. There was a part of her wishing he would agree to go on a date with her --- because that way, she'll have a happy memory with him (hopefully) and of course, for her to finally stop following him around. It will hurt for sure, but Jennie will hold on to her words. If he agrees to go on a date with her, she'll distance herself from him after that.

But there was a part of her hoping he wouldn't agree to it. Somehow, there's a little hope inside her heart that Mino wouldn't want her to completely shut herself from him.

A beer in his hand was his solace into making a decision. Mino even laugh at how this was such a big decision-making thing when if he was one of the classmates of Jennie, those school boys will surely be accepting the offer in an instant --- not that he completely disagree with the idea of the date, it's just that they are risking something especially with them going on a date for a whole day where other university staffs and students might see them. To be honest, he thought it was nice, at least he would get to know the girl plus, get rid off her after that and it's been also long since his last fling yet what worries him is that she is a student. Of course, the type of dates which he does with his flings involving hot make-out sessions will be a no-no and his lack of experience with real dates bothers him. "Oh well." He mumbled, finishing the contents of the beer in his hand.

As usual, Jennie woke up early to make a bento box for Mino. She also wrote him a short letter before preparing herself. She wore her uniform, put on some light make-up and let her hair down. She drove to the university a little earlier than her friends and went straight to the faculty office just as what the professor had requested. She knocked on the door to his room first and waits for him to open it for her.

Mino got to his office early, so early that he was the first one in the faculty office which provided him a time for a thirty-minute nap before a knock on the door ringed into his ear which sets him right into his feet to open the door as he already know who it is.
