In a fictional modern country called Soeul, humans and creatures thrive on the same land. At war for centuries, two powerful clans decided to join forces and bring all under their control. A world where everyone can live in peace, an alliance treaty was signed under one condition—an arranged marriage between the unborn children of the Park and Jung.

As the fate of these two children have been decided in exchange for peace, the future of Soeul now lies in their hands.

Bells chimed the palace grounds as a cry of a baby sounded loudly into the air.

At long last, the Jung heir is born.

For five months, the Parks have waited, praying that the Jung would be a boy. For certainly, many problems can arise especially for the Park who remained true to their old traditions.

But alas, the Jung heir is a girl!

“Why, there is absolutely nothing wrong for two females to marry with each other!” Jung Taehyun, the clan’s leader insisted, a smirk planted across his face. “Unless, you would like another war? Have thousands more of your men and women killed? Let those monsters burn our land?” He threatened, knowing that the Park would not make rash decisions.

Park Jungwoo sighed, a line creasing in between his forehead as he clutched tightly onto his staff. “Very well.” He remained calm and composed. “Let our children become Soeul’s first ever same- royalty couple. We have no other choice. None of us want another war."

“I like what you think, Jungwoo.”

The two leaders exchanged a handshake, keeping their promises in tact. Once the Jung heir reaches the age of twenty, she will marry the first-born daughter of the Parks.

Bounded by marriage before birth, Chorong and Eunji have taken the first steps of responsibilities that lie ahead.
