"Sometimes two people find each other with both broken foundations, and they build together as a team to make a foundation that is indestructible."

They never left the airport.

Bobby took Jeongyeon to the Starbucks Coffee shop so they could sit down and talk about the truth. It wasn't going to be easy for Jeongyeon since she knew Bobby and Hanbin were best friends. She couldn't come between them.

She had to keep this one a secret.

Well more like her second one.

Her first secret was buried deep inside her and it was never going to come out. She couldn't let it. She learned to move on from it and then the second one started becoming her biggest regret.

She sighed as she looked at her warm chai tea as her hands were placed around the cup. Her hands were cold due to the store and it was keeping her warm. She took a sip of the tea and she felt something wet on her upper lip.

Bobby had been watching her as he knew she was trying to calm herself first and then tell him the truth. He smiled and leaned forward using his thumb to wipe off the foam from her lip. "You said you don't need a baby sitter yet, you still don't pay attention to yourself when you drink."

Jeongyeon felt her heart jump and her cheeks burn as he the foam from his thumb.

He hasn't done that before..

She cleared ignoring the remark and grabbed the napkin waving it in front of him. "You could've just given me this."

He shrugged with a smug smile. "I didn't want to."

Jeongyeon glared at him as he couldn't help but laugh. After getting to know him for a few years, she always liked it when he smiled. It reminded her of a bunny. But she never called him that. She worried he wouldn't like it and that would only cause more teasing for the both of them.

"Are you calm now?" Bobby asked as he took a sip of his coffee staring at her. "I mean, I don't want to rush since I know it won't be easy."

Jeongyeon sighed staring back at her cup. "It's not easy but I've only told one person the truth."

"Why didn't you tell me?" He wanted to know why she never went to him to talk. They were all close friend but there are some things he doesn't tell Hanbin when he talks to Jeongyeon and vice versa.

"You and Hanbin have been friends longer before I came along. I couldn't have you involved and....I just couldn't tell you." Jeongyeon picked her head up to look at him. "I never should have said 'yes' to him."

Bobby widen his eyes at her.

Is she saying what I think it means?

"We've been together for two months and I just can't do this anymore." Jeongyeon sighed but tears were filling her eyes. "I don't like him. I don't have any romantic feelings for him. I tried... I really did... but there is nothing. I only feel friendship."

Bobby felt his heart racing with hope for himself. He couldn't believe her confession. It was surprising at first but he couldn't believe that somehow fate was answering him. "So this whole time, you were pretending?"

Jeongyeon wiped a tear from her cheek. "Don't make me feel terrible than I already do."

Bobby grabbed another napkin for her and handed it to her. "I'm not trying to. I'm just trying to understand. Why couldn't you just tell me? I would've helped you break up with him."

Jeongyeon shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know. It wasn't your problem."

"C'mon Jeongyeon!" He scoffed at her rolling her eyes as he crossed his arms on his chest. "I would if you asked and talked to me."

She bit a pinch of her bottom lip and closed her eyes. "When he told me he was going to Japan for the week. I told him to go. Inside, I felt relief that I wouldn't have to be around him for a week. I would take this chance to think about on what I will tell him when he got back."

She is going to break up with him?

She opened her eyes and saw Bobby looking at her. He had no expression his face that she couldn't read. "You think bad of me, don't you?"

Bobby sighed reaching over, grabbing her hand. He rubbed her knuckles with his thumb. "I don't."

There was silence for the both of them.

No words.

Jeongyeon had been with Hanbin for two months. It wasn't long but to her it did feel longer. She did put her effort to try and have feelings for him but nothing came and it wasn't him. It was her. She didn't have any romantic feelings for him. She never did.

There was only one person she had feelings for and it was a long time ago.

Her feelings were for Bobby, when she was in her last year of high school and his first year in college. Every morning he would take her school and pick her up. It was comforting and Hanbin would be around since they were in the same grade.

But her focus would go to Bobby. She wanted him to notice her more than a friend but at times he never caught on. So in the end, she had to hide her feelings from him and bury them away to move on.

"Let me help you." Bobby spoke breaking Jeongyeon away from her thoughts. The silence was putting him on the edge after she didn't speak. It only made him feel anxious.

She widen her eyes looking at him in shock. "What do you mean?"

Bobby clenched his jaw and tried to find the right words that were going to leave his mouth. He wanted to help Jeongyeon in any way that he can. He would do anything for her. If this was his calling right now, he would take it and help her. He sighed closing his eyes feeling his heart shake.

It's now or never.

He opened his eyes staring back at her.

Please let her say 'yes' to me.

Please.

"During this week while Hanbin is gone, be with me. I'll make you forget that you are with him." He stared at her seriously and waiting for her response felt like million light years away.

Jeongyeon felt her heart jump again.

Isn't this called 'cheating?

Why would he help me?

She didn't understand why he would say that. He wasn't the type to say such things. It didn't make sense to her. "Why would you --"

"Because you should've said 'no' to him from the beginning." Bobby clenched his jaw the moment he said a small part of his confession. He didn't want to tell her the truth just yet. He wanted to wait but if this could help her say yes right now then he will tell her everything. "I don't like being selfish but right now... I will be. So... say 'yes' Jeongyeon."

Jeongyeon didn't know what to say but she slowly nodded her head agreeing. Bobby let out a breath that she didn't know he had been holding and smiled at her. He rubbed her knuckles again gave her a loving smile that made her heart jump again and again.

What the heck!

She hadn't felt that way in a long time.

Why is that happening now?

Bobby felt something from his pocket and took out his phone and saw the name on the screen. He answered it and hummed into the phone before he hung up. "Are you hungry?"

Jeongyeon nodded with a nervous smile. "A bit."

"Jinhwan just called to meet up. Do you want to come?" Bobby asked nervously as waited for her to answer him.

Jeongyeon nodded again.

Ok.. now I'm nervous..

Am I do the right thing agreeing for his help?

- - - - -

Every five minutes Bobby would look from the corner of his right eye and see Hanbin let out a few grunts with a smile of nerves. He didn't know what was going on and when he turned to ask, Hanbin had his fingers curled in his left hand and pushed them back with his right hand.

Bobby heard the sound of his knuckles popping. He saw Hanbin do the same to his other hand and push his arms up as if he was ready for something that was going to happen.

"What's going on with you?" Bobby finally asked as he stuffed his hands in his pockets. "Are you nervous about something?"

Hanbin stopped in his place without blinking. "Why? Is it obvious?"

Bobby rolled his eyes as he kept walking to meet up Jeongyeon for lunch. They were already late, but that was because, Hanbin was changing shirts which was odd since he looked fine when Bobby arrived but then after changing his shirts, he started changing his pants and shoes.

The only thing Bobby could guess was that he was trying to look good for someone.

"Who are you trying to impress?" Bobby let out a sigh once he saw the familiar sign coming up ahead.

"No one really." Hanbin was right by his side again like before. "Why don't I look good?"

Bobby turned to stare at his best friend when he stopped in his place.

Why is he asking me such a weird question?

He looked fine when I arrived.

"Well?" Hanbin held up his hands waiting for his answer.

Bobby sighed rolling his eyes before staring at his attire. He had a white shirt underneath his black v neck sweater that had two red wide lines at the top with a suit jacket over the sweater. His jeans sky blue and skinny with black low top converse.

He looks fine

But who is he dressing to impress?

Bobby moved his eyes up and saw his brown hair curled off to the right side making it look like a models hair style. The only thing Bobby could do was smile at his best bud in a friendly manner. "You look fine."

Hanbin put his hands down and glared. "Thanks, you're a pal."

Bobby chuckled as he started walking towards the sign. "No problem."

"Today is going to be a good day! I feel it!" Hanbin patted his friends shoulder, making Bobby raised his eyebrows in curiosity. "Do you want to wish me luck?"

"If I knew what you were doing, I would...but since I don't. I won't tell you." Bobby smiled at Hanbin making him look like a bunny.

"Tssh, fine." Hanbin released him once they were at the door to the restaurant. "Maybe I won't need it."

Ok?

Bobby opened the doors and scanned the area looking for a familiar face, once he did he smiled going over to the table. Hanbin followed behind him as he spotted the person sitting at the table already cooking the meat on the grill. He took in a deep breath and let it out to relax himself.

You got this Hanbin.

This is your day.

"Hey, sorry we're late." Bobby pulled out the chair smiling at Jeongyeon. "Someone decided to change his outfit over and over."

"Hey man! Don't tell her that!" Hanbin nudged his friend with his elbow and took the tongs from Jeongyeon turning the meet over. "You're making me sound not cool."

Jeongyeon stared at both boys sitting across from her. She couldn't believe after the few years in high school together, they were still friends. Hanbin was in her class for the last two years and even when Bobby had graduated he failed a class or two and was around them during summer school.

They were three best friends always doing things together.

Every day after school they would go eat street food before going to either karaoke, the mall, or somewhere fun.

Bobby and Hanbin would get attention from girls around them and some would whisper when Jeongyeon was around since she was the only girl and some thought she was dating both of them at the same time but those were rumors.

Yet somehow those rumors started in school.

Bobby wasn't seen around any girls other than Jeongyeon. He grew to care for her just like any other friend would.

Hanbin had always thought she was cute and helpless when she was slow at times. He couldn't help but make fun of her.

Jeongyeon enjoyed her friendship with her two close friends that were boys. They always did have fun and there was maybe a few fights along the way. But who doesn't when it comes to friends.

Jeongyeon smiled as she placed the grilled meat on the lettuce with the white rice below the meat and for the final touch she added the ssamjang. She held it up to Bobby who opened his mouth leaning forward. She laughed seeing his gesture like a child. She got her chopsticks and placed the wrap between the sticks and put it in his mouth.

"Thank you." He muffled with the food in his mouth.

Jeongyeon nodded as she did another one for Hanbin, feeding him with her chopstick. She was going to do one for herself but Bobby held one for her. She opened for it and he didn't bother using his chopsticks. He used his hand.

It was a normal thing when they ate out to eat and feed each other. It took a while since Jeongyeon was shy but she grew comfortable around the boys.

"The food is amazing!" Hanbin hummed as he chewed on his food. "Who is getting the bill this time?"

"Um.. that would be you." Jeongyeon spoke drinking some water that was near her.

Bobby grabbed the pitcher that was left on the table and pour her some more. "Yeah, I got last time."

"Ok. Ok." Hanbin cleared his throat as he swallowed his food and rubbed his palms on his jeans from the sweat he created. He could he feel his heart pounding hard knowing he was nervous but he couldn't wait anymore. "I.... uh.. have something to say."

Bobby and Jeongyeon stopped chewing on their food for a moment as they both stared at each other before looking over to Hanbin.

"Don't tell me you're coming out of the closet?" Bobby joked earning him a smack on his arm from Hanbin.

Jeongyeon laughed hearing the joke as well.

Bobby drank some water before he choked.

"Since my so-called best friend is here.. I figured this is the best time." Hanbin felt his throat getting dry from his nervousness. He rubbed his hands on his jeans again and felt heat all around his body.

You can do it Hanbin!

Just do it!

"I thought I was your best friend too?" Jeongyeon pouted at him leaning on the table with her arms crossed.

"Well..." Hanbin bit his bottom lip holding back his smile. "I'm hoping you and I can be more than that."

In that moment, it took a second or two for Bobby and Jeongyeon to realized what Hanbin was asking.

What?

Oh-no...Please don't...

Jeongyeon blinked at him a few times before he got up from his place and went to the seat next to Jeongyeon and sat down grabbing her hand with his.

"I've come to like you Jeongyeon." Hanbin felt himself shake inside because of his heart and he felt his ears burning from confessing. He doesn't do this often so he hoped it would go well. "I' started liking you when our last year of high school came around and we've been friends for a while. Will you... be my girlfriend?"

As the time was ticking waiting on her response, the person across the table from the two friends was also waiting for the time-bomb to explode inside him.

Bobby didn't know how or when he started caring Jeongyeon, but along the way it became more and he could never bring himself to confess to her. He cared for their friendship and didn't want to ruin it, he only hoped one day he would gain the courage and just tell her.

There is always that one friend who ends up liking their girl best friend and if he was being honest with himself, he had liked her before Hanbin did. He just didn't say anything because he enjoyed their friendship as three.

Say 'no'..

Please... say 'no.'

Jeongyeon didn't know what to say.

Hanbin surprised her by his confession.

She didn't know how to react but she had to do something. She let out a nervous laugh pulling her hands away from him but he pulled them back with his.

"I'm being serious Jeongyeon." Hanbin said to her still waiting. "I really do like you. What do you say?"

Jeongyeon opened as the smile faded for a moment but she took the chance to look over to Bobby not wanting to leave him out of the loop. "What do you think Bobby? Should I say 'yes'?"

Please stop this...

Help me.

Bobby couldn't believe she was asking for his advice on it. He wanted to scoff and tell her no and confess his feelings to her but he couldn't.

He couldn't take away something that his best friend was already doing. It wasn't right and that's not what best buds do.

As much as he felt the horrible pain inside him, he had to ignore it best he could for the two most important people in his life.

I can't take this away from Hanbin.

It all made sense now.

Bobby didn't know why Hanbin was nervous or why he changed his wardrobe so many times. He was doing it for Jeongyeon to ask her to be his. Bobby felt like a fool not seeing it sooner. If he knew ahead of time, he could have warned Jeongyeon and she probably would've told him no.

Or at least, that's what he would want for her do to.

Tell Hanbin no.

As much as it hurt him, Bobby smiled to Jeongyeon giving her a nod. "I don't see why you would say 'no'."

Jeongyeon felt a pang in her chest from his words and wished for an opposite answer. She couldn't waste anymore time since she kept Hanbin waiting. She turned back to him with a smile and only gave him a nod.

Hanbin gladly accepted her answer and couldn't help but hug her. "Thank you!"

Jeongyeon was shocked at first but it wasn't their first time hugging. They had done it before when they hung out with other friends and
