It can be cured through surgical removal, but when the infection is removed, the victim's romantic feelings for their love also disappear.

Chapter 5: holy crap it definitely has been awhile but thank you for deciding to finish this! i remember how this was one of the first jenlisa fic that roped me into a fanfic rabbit hole and i would read it time and time again because of how tragic and beautiful jennie's situation is. if this is all about the growing pains of falling in love, then i'm willing to see how jennie will trudge forward post-surgery
