Eunha was sipping her tea in the kitchen on Monday morning when she looked at the black screen of her phone. ‘There’s nothing.’ She thought. Yesterday, there was also almost nothing came from Sinb. Eunha was worried. She tried to send her a message asking how she has been but, she just gave her a short reply stating that she was still feeling not good. Eunha offered herself to come but she refused it. That drove her crazy actually. But she’s afraid to confront it that day cause she could’ve worsened the situation.

Suddenly, a notification came and her phone lighted up. She was so happy that she thought Sinb finally message her. She quickly picked up her phone to see the message closely. Her expression slightly changed. It wasn’t from Sinb. It was from Yuna.

Yuna

[Hey, do you have anything to do after class?]

Eunha didn’t have anything to do yet since Sinb hasn’t message her. But she was not sure whether to say yes or not to Yuna. At some point, she wanted to just stay at home with everything that was going on for the past two days. Nevertheless, she decided to send Sinb a message first.

Eunha

[hey, feeling better? Wanna go somewhere this afternoon?]

Eunha waited for Sinb to respond. And so did Yuna. She was ready to go to campus with a sheet of a song in her hand. It was her self-composed song. She was supposed to bring it as an assessment for her composing subject that day. Looking that Eunha might not reply it soon, she put on her shoes and went to campus.  In the class, she was somehow couldn’t concentrate on anything the professor said. Her best friend was aware of this.

“What’s wrong?” Umji said.

“Huh?” reciprocated Yuna. She was surprised by the sudden question Umji gave her, breaking her thoughts.

“You look uneasy.”

“Ah… nothing.” Yuna took her phone on her pocket and open her katalk app.

Umji was looking at Yuna who was looking at her phone.

“Is it about that library girl?” she asked.

Yuna was automatically turned her head to Umji.

“Well, I don’t know. I sent her a message this morning and she has read it, but still hasn’t replied yet.” Said Yuna.

“Maybe she’s busy.”

“Yeah.” Yuna put her phone on the table. She tried to focus on the lecture again.

Umji also did the same, but she was curious about something.

“Do you really like that girl?” she asked.

“hmm? Ah well, she’s really cute.” Yuna said. “And she likes music. The same music as I do. So, yeah she’s very attractive in my eyes.”

“Then why don’t you just go for it?”

“I told you she has a girlfriend, right? And you saw it too last Saturday.” Said Yuna.

“Yeah, and to be honest, Sinb is such a tough competitor. A famous gamer. Plus, she’s very hot don’t you think? Not that you’re not attractive. You do have this cool side, but I think it’ll be easier for you to just give up on her and find someone else.” Umji said.

Umji actually came to the concert with Yuna last Saturday. But Yuna excused herself to sit near Eunha instead of sitting with her. She understood it cause it has been weeks since Yuna was talking about that girl from Management major named Eunha. Yuna never boldly said she likes Eunha but, Umji can see it clearly. Especially because she has been a close friend with Yuna since high school.

“But I know you’re not that type of girl and you would rather choose to stay beside her even though you know both of you wouldn’t work.” Continued Umji. “Just like me.”
