With Every Breath I Take

Description

His mother his hair with tears falling out of her eyes. She didn’t want him to get hurt by the one man he trusted the most. She was going to protect her son as long as she could, even if it meant she lost her life.

“M-Mommy, what is he doing?” the boy cried. He tightened his grip on his mother’s shirt and pushed his face into it with tears falling down, staining his cheeks.

“Don’t cry baby. It’ll be alright.”

Of course, his mother couldn’t tell either way. The man could’ve hurt them or stopped his angry, useless ranting. She hoped the latter would win. That way, she could leave the country and never see the man again. That way, she could protect her son.

The door was kicked down. It landed with a thud against the cold, wooden floor. The man growled at the sight of his wife and son huddled in a corner. He didn’t like either of them. He didn’t even know why he married the damn woman. All he wanted was for them to be out of his life—for good.

Yoona held her child closer. She wasn’t going to lose him to his druggie of a father, Yoohwan.

Yoohwan approached Yoona and their son with the gun in his hand. He wasn’t going to use it unless the knife didn’t work. He stood in front of Yoona, about five feet away. “Why are you protecting him, ? You know that I’m going to kill both of you anyway. So just give up and let him come to daddy.”

Yoona widened her eyes as she saw Yoohwan pull a steak knife out of the inside of his coat. She bent down and pretended to kiss her son’s head, but she whispered inside of his ear so only he could hear. “You must run. Run as far as you can from your father. Please. Do it for Mommy, okay?” Yoona moved back and smiled at her son, nodding. She had tears in her eyes. She pulled her son closer to her body for one last hug. Then, she stood up with all the courage she had left in her. She shakily walked over to Yoohwan with closed eyes to distract him from seeing their son escape in a flash.

“At least you’re smart,” Yoohwan said, smirking. He was unaware of the 3-year-old escapee as he the knife into his wife’s stomach. She tried to scream, but only air came out. She held onto her stomach, but fell forward to keep the attention away from her son for just a little more time.

The last thing that graced the beautiful woman’s face was a smile, hearing the closing door from downstairs.

                Yunho had escaped.

Foreword

This is literally a spur-of-the-moment story idea. I swear on my life that while writing that, I was listening to Block B's new song "NanlinA" the whole time. XD Don't ask me how I wrote that with the song; I just did. O_O

Well, you should enjoy the story~ I'll update when I can, but that probably won't be often. Just know that I'm not going to apologize for not updating.

I know it gets annoying. -_-"

So, how about a little YunJae loving? <3
