🕰 continuation of the FLASHBACKS 🕰

Seungmin was waiting to hyunjin at the park near his home. He was feel so emotional right now.

As he was waiting he realize something.

He knows he was in denial the whole time. And maybe oblivious on what is happening around him.

But he knows hyunjin since grade schools, and he was sure that hyunjin will never lie to him.

And here he was waiting in the middle of the night at the park. Alone and cold. He don't care if he will be sick as long as too see and talk to his boyfriend.

He was determine to know the truth from hyunjin even if its hurt him. He was trying hard to stop the tears who wants to drop under his eyes.

He was looking in the fountain on his front. When he saw a very familiar figure running to his direction. He put a sad smile while watching it.

"I'm so so sorry Minnie if I was late, I taught you left already"

"I-its okay"

He gently hold my hands and look at me.

"Your hand is so cold how many hours have you been here?"

"Its doesn't matter anymore"

I said and took my hand from him.

"Okay, so... what do you want to tell me?"

I look him in the eye. I decided to tell him about my scholarships first.

" you know, graduation is coming soon and we will enter college soon right?"

He nodded.

"Remember the university in LA. That I wanted really to get into?"

"Oh yeah, the one near Hollywood"

"Yeah, that one, I got accepted"

I'm waiting for his reaction. He suddenly look at me and smile wider.

"OMG. Minnie I'm so happy for you"

He said while hugging me.

"But there will be a problem"

He took away from the hug. I suddenly miss the warm on me.

"What do you mean?" He looks confused.

"I-i mean you and me.. long distance"

"Oooh, your right-"

Before he can continue his word. I cut him off.

"Actually I wanted to ask you something"

He titled his head and look at me. I take it as a signal to continue.

"What do you think of Changbin hyung?" I ask

He look kinda of surprise but after a while he clear his throat before speaking.

"What do you mean? I-i mean why are you asking me this kind of question?"

"I'm just curious"

He chuckle.

"You already knew that"

"No I don't" I hiss back.

He stop and look at me. He must be notice that I'm serious.

"Okay... tell me what you want. What is this? Are you thinking of what I've been thinking,"

"What are you thinking" I ask

He sigh.

" you know me minnie. I will not be cheating. I will never hurt you"

He said. And I can assure that he was telling the truth. It was visible in his eyes.

I inhale some air. I feeling kind of dizzy now.

"I know- b-but please tell me the truth hyunjin do you- I-i mean do you perhaps like him?"

He look at me shock. And answer me with a no. But I am not that stupid anymore that's why I ask him again.

"Hyung~ you know you blink when you lie. I-i mean I will not be mad. You can tell me the truth even if its hurt" I said while trying to put some smile on my face.

He look at me in the eye, and I can see his eyes is getting glossy as mine, he took my both hands and play his thumbs.

"I-im sorry Minnie. I-i know its kind a stupid of me to fall for him knowing we are together. But I swear i- never cheat. And he also don't know about my feelings."

My heart break, and suddenly beat slowly. I wanted to cry but I couldn't. But he started to cry.

I smile to him reassuringly and hold his hand tighter.

"Ssshhhh~ stop crying"

I should hate him, but despite of what is happening I can't get mad at him. I can't.

"I'm so sorry minnie. I am a bad boyfriend to you. You deserve better."

"Sssshhhh~ stop crying. You look ugly." I smile.

"And stop saying that your a bad boyfriend. It's not true. You at the best boyfriend I have ever had."

He look at me still sobbing.

"And beside I kinda figure the things out too"

"I'm sorry"

"Its okay, I mean I assure you he likes you back too"

He blushed. How I wish you were blushing for me.

"Well its look like this is a goodbye?"

I said.

"Are you not mad at me?"

"I will never be mad at you always remember that"

"Even if I hurt your heart"

"I will never be mad Jinnie, you are my first best friend after all, maybe we should stay as that?" I state.

I smile, and he return the smile.

"I don't know if I can do that, I mean I'm so bad. I'm really am sorry, and thank you for understanding me"

"Well always remember that I will be here for you okay?"

"Okay"

We hugged for the last time. And say good bye.

HYUNJIN POV

"What happen between you and changbin hyung?"seungmin ask.

Well I'm not surprise, I mean the sooner we talk about this the better.

"Its not work well"

"What do you mean not work well?"

"We both realize that we are not meant to be and-"

I pause I look at him. He looks like a lost puppy with that big curious eyes of his.

I decided to tell him the truth. He deserve it better.

"And I realize that i still loved someone else" I said while scratching the back of my neck in embarrassment.

He also pull away a little and look at the fountain while blushing.

We are in the middle of awkward silence.
When Chan hyung called us.

So apparently the group decide to go to the amusement park for our second day.

Well its been a long time since we go to this. I was quiet excited.

We rode a van. Chan hyung in the driver seat with woojin hyung in the passenger seat.

The first row was minsung with jeongin, follow by changlix in 2nd row and me and seungmin at the back.

The whole ride at the park is so loud, there's this music banging, and laughters the whole ride.

I decided to hold seungmin's hand. And so happy that he hold me back. We stay like that the whole ride.

We arrive at the park and decided to ride rollercoaster first. Seungmin let go of my   hand.

He must be notice that I felt sad about it. And told me that there are lot of people that might recognize me.

He has a point. So instead I re-adjust my mask and hat.

We ride the roller coaster but jisung,minho and Felix decided to not to ride instead they rode a carousel.

Seungmin and I was seated next to each other. We hold hands the whole ride. And I really enjoy the ride despite of feeling like I'm going to the die. I scream my lungs out the whole time. While seungmin only laugh at me.

After the ride. We all feel our energy drain offs, so we decided to take some break. We walk around the park and I notice that we are still holding hands. I hold his hand firmly and don't care about the people who will recognize me.

He lets me.

The sunset is almost approaching in a minute and the fireworks display will happen soon. We all line up for the ferris wheel.

Despite of long line, we still manage to ride it for the fireworks display time.

Chan woojin and jeongin ride together. Changlix take one ride also same as with minsung.

Which leave us no choice but to take 1 ride with seungmin and I.

As soon as we enter the ferris wheel stall. I immediately take off my mask and hats.

"Finally I can breath"

Seungmin chuckled and fix my hair.

We made eye contact. I hold his hand again. And he put his head on my shoulder.

We stay like this for a while. No one is talking, just silence but a not awkward silence.

"I miss doing this" I said.

"Me too~" he reply.

I smile wider this time.

And then we heard a countdown from the other stall(especially Jisung, Felix and jeongin 😂😂) shouting for the fireworks.
