Description

Irene is shocked, to say the least, when her best friend Seulgi comes out as gay. Really gay. Irene thought she knew her best friend well enough but soon finds that there is a lot she doesn't know—about Seulgi and herself. So when Seulgi comes out and Irene doesn't know how to react (more than that, she doesn't know how to feel), she finds her life spiraling out of control and into a gigantic mess that she would've sent her freshman year self running for the hills. But she isn't a freshman anymore, so it's a time to grow up and figure out what the hell is going on.

Everyone has to balance school, friends, and relationships, and it's harder than you think.

Things get better. Things get worse. And they just keep getting more confusing.

Everything's all jumbled up.

Foreword

Hey guys!

I thought it would be interesting to explore what it's like to come out and what it's like trying to figure out your uality. I also really wanted to write about the web of friendship and relationships and its complications. This is my first entirely original storyline, so please bear with me! I just wanted to look deeper into the high school experience without making it seem too overdramatic so hopefully, it's a little more on the realistic side, since I do take inspiration from my own life.

You will also notice names changing from stage names to birth names. I do this because I noticed that among the members in real life, they switch what names they use when talking to one another. Also, I just really love when Seulgi calls Irene "Hyun." I think it's very cute :)
