The roads are empty , apart from the occasional car or taxi that drives pass. I sigh and my breath fills the air with a cloud of steam.

Smiling to myself i stepped out of the drive way and try to hail myself a taxi from the main road. There is a slight drizzle but the sky didn’t look like it was threatening to pour.

A cab stops and i hop on. The nice old man turns the heater up when he sees me shivering.

“It never is child , but we have to make the best out of it. I’m sure you have someone special to help you through this . “

“ it was too hard on him , our relationship , so i thought it was best for him if i wasn’t around anymore “

“ ahhh, did you ask him if it would be better ? Or you assumed it would be. We can’t all live by assumptions now can we ? “

I finally reach the lobby of Min-ah’s apartment building. Rummaging through my bag for my wallet i tried to pay the driver, but he politely refused.

When he drives off i’m left staring at the empty space where his car was.

Getting into the apartment i dump my bag in the bedroom and slumped down on the sofa. My phone jolts me back to life and fish around in my coat to fine it.
