The first time I had ever heard about Baekhyun was when my mom visited the hospital for her regular check-up for diabetes, and came home gushing ‘you won’t believe how handsome the new doctor is, honey!’. I initially laughed her off, seeing as she had the tendency to try and hook me up with random people regularly.  

The first time I saw Baekhyun, however, was 2 months later, during a trip to the hospital as my mom's blood sugar readings were lower than usual. He’d stepped out his office and with the call of my mom’s name and a wave for us both to go over, I knew it wouldn't like the other times my mom had tried to set me up with people.
