The next day after classes Ari, Rena, and Yenna went back to their dorm to get ready for the mixer. It was a casual event. Ari decided to wear a long sleeved brown, white, and black striped turtleneck dress with black tights underneath. Yenna was wearing jeans with a white and blue striped button up shirt. Rena was wearing a black bell sleeved top with black pants. They waited outside the dorm building for Jimin and Jungkook to come to pick them up. 

As they waited, Ari's phone began to ring. It was Jimin.

Jimin: hey, so we have a slight problem

Ari: what happened

Jimin: Jungkook just told me that Yumi needs a ride and she lives off-campus, basically now we need to go pick her up. Can you and the girls pick Hanbin up and we meet you guys at the mixer?

Ari: yeah, I guess 

Jimin: sorry, he just told me 

Ari: it's alright, not your fault

Jimin: see you there

Ari: see you

Rena and Yenna asked Ari what had happened. Ari explained the situation to them as they walked to her car.

"Wow, Jungkook is being a mess right now," said Rena.

"Yeah, now how is Rena going to ride in Jimin's car," teased Yenna.

Rena blushed, "Cut it out! That's not what I meant"

Ari said, "Yeah, I agree with Rena. I wasn't in the mood to drive today"

As she got in the driver's seat, Ari told Rena to sit in the passenger seat in the front. As Rena got in the seat she asked why.

"So that Hanbin can sit next to Yenna," Ari smirked.

"You two broke up like last night, is this normal?" Yenna asked.

"Oh please, we dated for like 3 days calm down," Ari replied as she began to drive. 

As they reached Hanbin's place, Ari called him to come outside. Hanbin got in the car, next to Yenna.

"Hey girls, thanks for picking me up, but I thought we were going in Jimin's car?" Hanbin said.

Rena explained to him what had happened.

"Oh, by the way, I realized the girl Jungkook is dating is in my calculus class, let me tell you from experience, she isn't exactly the nicest person", he said.

Yenna asked, "Why, what happened?"

"Well, my friend asked if he could borrow her phone charger and she said 'Ew, no',", Hanbin finished.

"Oh wow", said Ari.

"So Hanbin, how's it feel to have broken up so soon?" asked Rena. Ari and Yenna both looked at her.

"What", said Rena cluelessly.

"It's ok," Hanbin chuckled. He went on to say, "Honestly, I feel we were just awkward as a couple and things are much more chill now just as friends."

Ari added, "I couldn't agree more"

They reached the mixer 25 minutes later. Ari called Jimin and he told her to meet them at the water fountains near the Rose Garden. The event was taking place outdoors. Food and refreshments were placed on tables, with servers offering canapes to guests. The girls and Hanbin met up with Jimin, Jungkook, and Yumi. Ari didn't want to be petty so she smiled at Yumi, Yumi looked away pretending to not notice. Ok wow, ouch, thought Ari. Ari thought to forget about that and not let it ruin her night. The group grabbed some snacks from the tables and proceeded to walk around.
