Tickity tock (Joyrene)
The adventures
(Prompt: Sooyoung is lonely, she talks to a special clock.
Sooyoung understood that Joohyun was hot and cold.
That's the only thing that she knew.

The clock ticked. Ticked unbearably as Sooyoung counted the time passing by. It nearly was as slow as her heartbeat in that moment.
Everything was slow, gloomy and crushingly sad. Her eyes blinked through the stuffiness that the old house was infamous for; Sooyoung's limbs were lethargic, infected with sleepless nights and past memories.
Her ears easily tuned into the steady pouring of rain outside of the thin walls yet the clock's ticking always managed to make a bigger sound.
Wasn't rain such a comfort? It seemed to soothe her mind at times, perhaps soothe the ever ripping thoughts that swarmed, threatened, to burst out. Yet they never did, strange...
The rain wasn't a comfort at the very break of dawn. Making things sticky, clumping colour together till it blended, making ugly things on the canvas. Such a pretty thing to blind eyes, Sooyoung sometimes supposed, could be used to paint something. Many people saw it, she knew that at least.
So, she laid there. Unmoving, with boxes marking the entire room, filling it and leaving only room for the monitor that blinked lazily in the corner besides her bed. Lazy thinking didn't do good- well, for her anyway, and would always go back to the past. The past where she'd do anything to go back to.
