In Your Maze
Minnie made a face as she sees their second youngest whine into a pillow.
“What’s wrong with her?” Soyeon asked as she entered the room, only to be greeted with a loud groan. “Yuqi ah, you alright?” She dropped beside the younger girl.
“She’s…” Minnie gestured with her arms while trying to find the right word, “Very lovesick.”
“Oh?” Soyeon looked up at the older girl with raised brows, “How so?”
“She says her nose bleeds when she is in love with someone.” The Thailand girl shrugged, joining them on the bed as Soyeon laughed.
Yuqi sat up in a flash, “Urgh Minnie unnie! That is so not it!”
“Then speak properly and stop screaming into the pillow! I can’t catch a single word you’re saying!” The older girl huffed.
“I said.” She paused to take a deep breath, “I don’t know what to do anymore-” She was about to dive into the pillows again when Minnie grabbed at her waist, pulling her back up. Yuqi retaliated with a cry. “Unnie!”
“How long has this been going?” The leader calmly asked.
“About… half a day?” Minnie nodded with a sarcastic smile, still wrestling Yuqi’s attempt to hide her face. “Not too bad, really. Help me a little here, Soyeon?”
Soyeon rested her hands on the Chinese girl’s shoulders. “What happened?”
“I don’t know how to talk to her anymore. It’s been a week. All we’re doing now is ignore each other’s existence…” Yuqi sighed, her mind suddenly thinking about something, “I guess now I know… What she meant by being afraid…”
“Afraid of?” Soyeon tried again.
“Being on bad terms. Maybe it was her hint of telling me not to reveal it…” Yuqi’s doe eyes widened in realisation, crumbling in sadness.
“Reveal what?” Soyeon frowned, tilting her head while processing the bits and pieces.
