Description
people come and go, but best friends are supposed to be the constant. the ones who stay even when everyone else has left which was what yuqi had originally thought until her one and only best friend miraculously vanishes a week into summer break and leaves behind nothing more than a to-do list.

summer plans are supposed to be full of laughter, little talks, ventures to the lake, and days of hanging out down by the docks until jaehyun disappears and the list comes in.
which in return, ultimately brings in lucas who is willing to lend yuqi a hand on her journey of completing tasks in hopes of finding her best friend once again. except, not all that is lost needs to be found.

basically based off since you’ve been gone by morgan matson which was one of my favourite books last summer !! i also realized i didn’t have any stories w/ a summer setting so here it is.
