Parallel Lines ↬ⓜⓐⓡⓚⓗⓨⓤⓒⓚ

Description

In which a pack of tampons causes Donghyuck to meet the love of his life.

They lived past each other. After many bad experiences with love, they both gave up the thought of love completely. But who would have thought that the One had lived in the same neighborhood for years, went to the same school, visited the same university and worked two blocks away in the drugstore? Who would have thought that two lines that run parallel to each other the whole time would start to cross over and over again because of an annoying request?

Foreword

Sometimes the little encounters in life are the ones that change you forever.

We are constantly shuffling along the great, seemingly momentous events, only to miss at the same time, what would really bring us forward in life - it is the feeling after having to run for the bus and reach it. The feeling, when it feels like you're drowning in work, but still pass the exam due to your hard work. Worrying because you fought with a friend, but then you speak out and everything is fine.

It is this one moment when you send a prayer to heaven and thank for the help from who-knows-who.

It is said that the pathogenic dysstress transforms into eustress. Eustress, the adrenaline that flows through our veins and makes us tremble in excitement.

That's the fuel of life. It's what makes those little moments so great, when without warning, in the middle of a drugstore, you suddenly find the love of your life, which you no longer believed in.

Yet Donghyuck did not feel anything as he dragged the annoyed-looking shop assistant into the corner of feminine hygiene articles, let him go just in front of the shelf, and vented his anger.

"What the hell is that? Why did they put such a weird tissue on it? What's the difference between the tampons and those over there? Why is this one so big and they so damn thin and what the hell is that? And who the hell has decided that women need thousands of different products for one ing problem and what the hell am I supposed to buy now? "
