Student council president Yuju has been crushing on class secretary Umji during the school year. It's already the last day of school and Yuju still can't find the courage to confess her feelings. To her surprise, Umji makes the first move.

 

Foreword

Hey! So, I decided to write a little Yumji one-shot in honor of our precious maknae Kim Yewon’s birthday this month. The inspiration for it actually came from delving into old episodes of AKBingo because I adore the Japanese contestants on Produce 48. I came across episode 346 which centered on several AKB members creating their own mini romance drama. I found Kitahara Rie’s story, in particular, to be very clever and doki doki inducing, and I could easily picture Umji and Yuju substituting in the roles. Of course, I altered the original story a bit but made sure to keep its fluffy tone. Nevertheless, I hope you guys will enjoy it and Happy Birthday in advance to both Umji and Yerin!
