In the deep forests of Canada wolves retreat into a place of their own while piercing cold snow and ice blanket the world around them in white.

The smell of pine is the only thing for miles outside of the small barely inhabited town of Nazko. Kibum doesn't realize who, or what he is.

Things change when the wolves are driven closer to town due to lack of food supply in the harsh winter woods.

In a town where the only point of interest is the local general store, you expect nothing more than the dull quiet of life as you're enveloped by the sound of cruel winter winds blowing in the darkness.
