*** SYNOPSIS***

“It has been two years since our marriage but have you ever tried to love me? Actually, who am I to you? A housemaid? Do all the housework for you? A slave? Listen to every single thing you ask me to do? Or am I look like a toy? No emotions? No feelings?” Hakyeon looks at her husband while attacking the man with so many questions but meaningful.

Taekwoon doesn’t even dare to look at his wife since he knows he has hurt the woman’s feelings for many times. He wants to apologize but that word didn’t come out from his mouth.

“Answer my questions, Jung Taekwoon. I promise I will leave this house and will never come back but with a condition, you must answer my question. Who am I to you?” Hakyeon’s eyes already full with tears.

***CHARACTERS***

Actually, Hakyeon is a beauty but no one knows about that. It is because she was known as a nerd girl in Starlight Academy High School. She has a low confidence in her appearance. That is why, she chooses to be a simple girl who doesn’t know how to make up, how to style and how to fashion. She has a younger brother named Cha Sang Hyuk. Her brother is a famous guy in Seoul Academy High School. They were studying in a different school because their mother wants them to be independent. Hyuk is a smart and handsome boy. He has a black belt in Taekwondo too. He is way too different to compare with her. However, she still loves her brother. Same goes to Hyuk. In school, people love to laugh at Hakyeon just because of her ugly appearance. Besides, she is not rich people like them. In that school, they look forward to the students’ status than their performance in school. That is why her status in that school is very low. She doesn’t have any friend at that school. She doesn’t mind to eat alone, study alone and play alone. As long as no one disturbs her but that is impossible because this famous group loves to bully her. The leader of the group is Nayoung. Every day, they will disturb her eating, studying by playing her hair harshly, throwing flour and dirt on her and so on.

As for Taekwoon, he is the son of the richest CEO in Seoul, South Korea. He is the captain of the soccer team. He can play any type of sports and he can even play musical instruments such as piano, violin, and guitar. He has a handsome face and that is why a lot of girls are fangirling over him. He has the complete boyfriend materials. Well, he is actually an arrogant boy and cold too but not with his friends and girlfriend. His girlfriend is the hottest girl in the school that is Nayoung. Most of the girls are jealous of her because she has the best boyfriend in the world. Taekwoon can be professional in sports and music but not in the academy. His exam results are horrible. This is the reason why his father is very strict with him meanwhile his mother loves to spoil her son too much. Actually, his father is much better than his mother but since his mother treats him better than how his father treats him, he loves his mother the most.

Just like what I told, Hyuk is Hakyeon’s younger brother. Well, he tried to help his sister to change her appearance but failed since his sister hates to do it. He knows his sister is beautiful but people keep saying that she is like the ugly duckling.  He hates when people call his sister ‘ugly duckling’. He will beat those people until his name called by the principle for more than a hundred times. The principle doesn’t dare to expel him from the school since he is one of the best students in the school. However, he makes a decision to transfer into his sister’s school. He just founds out that his sister was a bully victim in that school. He protects his sister from those peoples. Thanks to him, Hakyeon lives much better than before. While he is studying in that school, he meets with a beautiful and kind girl named Hongbin. That girl has a sister named Jaehwan who is the same age as Hakyeon.

Let’s go on with Hongbin’s character in this story. Well, Hongbin is just a normal girl in that school. Her status in that school is not so high but most peoples love to friend with her because she is kind and beautiful too. Many peoples ask her to be their girlfriends but she rejects them except for this lucky guy. The first time this guy enters the school, she has already fallen in love with him. This lucky guy is Hyuk. When she starts to date with Hyuk, she founds out that Hyuk is Hakyeon’s younger brother. She was quite surprised because how nerd girl can have a younger brother that looks like a handsome prince. Because of her sharp tongue, Hyuk was pretty angry with her. No matter how big his love for her, he loves his sister the most. Without his sister, he will not be able to live in this world. Why? You will find the answer later.

Next is Jaehwan. Just now, I have explained to you that Jaehwan is Hongbin’s older sister. Jaehwan’s status has become higher when she becomes Wonshik’s girlfriend. Well, Wonshik is Taekwoon’s best friend. Of course, his status in that school is quite high but compared to Taekwoon, his status is a bit lower. Although she is quite famous in the school, she is still humble and kind too. She is in the same class with Hakyeon, same as Taekwoon and Wonshik. However, she doesn’t even dare to talk with that girl since Nayoung loves to bully the girl. She always wanted to talk with Hakyeon but what can she do. Nayoung has more power than her.

Let’s go for the next character that is Kim Wonshik. He is Taekwoon’s best friend. Actually, Wonshik is pretty different than Taekwoon. Well, everyone admits that Taekwoon is more handsome than Wonshik but if we look through their personality, Wonshik is much better than Taekwoon. Wonshik is a humble and friendly guy. He knows his girlfriend, Jaehwan always wanted to friend with Hakyeon but he could not help her since he afraid if this can lead to a huge fight between him and Taekwoon. Because this matter involves Nayoung.

Last but not least, Nayoung, the best antagonist in this story. She is the hottest girl in Starlight Academy High School. She is the daughter of the famous author in Seoul and her mother is a lawyer. In front of everyone, she looks like she loves Taekwoon very much but actually, she doesn’t have any feelings for him. She only used him to become popular. She even used him for money. The sad thing is she even willing to marry him just for the money eventhough the man already married with another woman. But she doesn’t mind about it because she knows that Taekwoon doesn’t love Hakyeon. Taekwoon still loves her.
