A/N: Hi all, so this isn’t a new fic and some of you may have read it, but if not even better. I’m just reposting this to fit seulrene better and changing a lot around to make it work. Please enjoy^^

Popular comic book artist Kang Seulgi is finally engaged to her singer/songwriter girlfriend Bae Joohyun after three years of dating. She had come from an intense breakup with her first love Hwang Tiffany just before meeting Joohyun. Being together in a relationship with the singer healed her heart and allowed her to fall in love again, and they were living very happy together in their shared apartment. Everyone had teased them already that they were an old married couple, so it wasn't really a shock when they did finally get engaged, and making all of their friends excited for them.

Joohyun without a doubt was one of the kindest, warmest people Seulgi had ever met. She was always selflessly putting others before herself. It was easy to fall in love with her, after a very painful breakup with her first girlfriend. They were engaged now and all they had to do was look forward to their future. Seulgi awakes one morning to warm, soft lips covering hers. She smiles into the kiss.

"Good morning, Hyunnie."

"Morning baby." The shorter raven smiles back, deepening their kiss. They have both been in a very euphoric state since they were engaged several days ago.

"I still can't believe that we're getting married." Joohyun stares down at the beautiful, diamond engagement ring that Seulgi proposed with. In an honestly romantic proposal that took place in the restaurant where they first met 3 years ago. The brunette booked the entire place out just for the two of them. There was dinner and so many roses and candles. Their younger friends Joy and Yeri were there as waitress being on their best behavior for once. Seulgi even serenaded her with a song, just before asking the most important question she'd ever ask anyone. Joohyun was positive that she had never cried so much and so hard in her entire life. She playfully hit the monolid woman who made her cry, before agreeing wholeheartedly.

"I'm just glad that you said yes, Hyun. Joy and Yeri would have never let me live it down otherwise."

"Hey, have I ever said no to you before?" The shorter of the two kisses her again, wrapping her arms around the taller woman's neck.

"Well?" Seulgi pretends to think, earning a slight frown from her now fiancée. Joohyun is no longer her girlfriend, but now she’s her fiancée. They’re engaged now; and one day they will be each other’s wives. For Seulgi it feels so surreal even saying or thinking it. Yet, here they are laying in bed celebrating their engagement.

"Hey, Kang Seulgi. I can still take my response back, you know."

"No, no take backs, Mrs. Kang."

Joohyun blushes furiously. Seulgi has this way of always making her blush like a young teenager. It was something the raven noticed very early on in their relationship. Seulgi could do very little to make her smile and cause her to feel like a young teen all over again, and it was a wonderful feeling.

"I like the sound of that."

"Me too." Seulgi nods. As much as Joohyun would really love to stay in bed with her fiancée. She knows that she needs to get up and hopefully make them both something to eat.

"Okay, now I'm going to get up and make us breakfast."

"You’re going like that?" Seulgi gestures to her very form. Joohyun turns with a wink.

"You've seen it all before, Seul."

"Yeah, many, many times." The artist grins ily, before caressing an exposed .

"B-Babe, stop or I will want to stay in bed with you all day." Joohyun warns her and pretends she’s more reluctant than she is, because in honesty she wouldn’t mind staying in bed all day with Seulgi. It’s a treat when she gets to lay in bed, cuddle, kiss, makeout, among other things with the one she loves.

"How is this a bad thing?"

"Well it's not." The raven does agree. "But we do have to eat and I have to get to the studio."

Joohyun was in the middle of recording her 2nd full length album. She’s a very well sought after vocalist/rapper and also an in demand songwriter. Seulgi honestly fell in love with her gorgeous vocals instantly. She knows that she has a good singing voice but there’s something about was Joohyun’s voice that makes her so weak, and she sounds amazing to the ears. Even though the raven has assured her time and time again that she really loves Seulgi’s singing voice too.

"My, Hyunnie. I know you're going to kill whatever you sing today. Do you need a ride?"

"No that's okay, Seul. I'll drive my own car today. I'll probably go out for drinks with Jennie and Chaeyoung." She mentions two of her close friends and labelmates.

"They know we're engaged." Seulgi questions while kissing her right hand.

"No, but they will. I think everyone can see this huge rock, Seul. You didn't have to spend so much for it you know."

There she was, always thoughtful Joohyun. Seulgi shakes her head in protest. "You deserve everything and more, Hyun. Who else would I spend my money on but the person I love."

Joohyun feels her heart swell instantly. Her wife to be is very sweet. She knows that she couldn't have asked for a better partner. Seulgi is the kind of warm, kind, and giving person to not just the people she loves, but to others. Seulgi is a wonderful human being, and Joohyun couldn't wait to spend the rest of her life with her. This lovely, human, teddy bear like woman laying in bed staring at her with her warm gaze, is the one Joohyun wants to be with always.

"Well, you know I will spoil you even more when we're married." Joohyun lets her know.

Seulgi laughs with her eyes forming crescents. "You already do. Come on, let's go have breakfast." The couple then head off together. After convincing the raven to put on one of Seulgi's shirts, even though the shorter woman really didn't see why she had to. Seulgi has had amazing luck in finding the singer, especially after the bad breakup she experienced with Tiffany.

They were close friends, best friends actually turned lovers. They shared a slight age difference of 4 years but that never seemed to be an issue for the two of them. They dated seriously for 5 years. Five years of as many ups as there were downs, but there was definitely a lot of love. It was intense, passionate, they were each other's first in everything which can be very all consuming. They were just as rocky at times, mostly because of issues surrounding Tiffany’s jealousy and possessiveness. Then one day out of the blue Tiffany brokeup with her, without any real explanation as to why. It left Seulgi very heartbroken for a whole year afterwards.

She ended up producing no doubt some of her best artwork because of that pain. She just wished that Tiffany could have at least told her why. She didn't make it easy for the brunette to get in contact with her either, as her phone number was changed and she left hastily from their shared apartment at the time. Seulgi knows not to wonder anymore. She's moved on and is very happy with Joohyun, but she never really did get any closure.

"Tiffany, wherever you are. I hope that you're happy."

Time on the other hand had not been very good to Hwang Tiffany since she ended things with the love of her life. She hadn't wanted to, but her mother had insisted she end their relationship. As it couldn't possibly go any further than it had. Her mother had seen it as a miracle they even dated as long as they were. She had also seen Seulgi as some sort of experiment for her daughter. She also felt it was time to end said experiment as she had enough fun with the slightly younger girl. Nothing could have been further from the truth.

Seulgi was never an experiment for her. She genuinely loved the kind, and beautiful monolid woman. Several times she had thought to reach out and contact Seulgi, and tell her the real reasons why she ended their relationship so abruptly. Only she never had the courage to do so. When the public had announced that Kang Seulgi was dating Bae Joohyun. Tiffany had felt her heart break into pieces upon reading that news. The couple also looked so happy in the photos and that only caused her to feel more pain. Especially when she still loved Seulgi and probably always would.

Tiffany had went into several drunken binges during that time. One evening she was so drunk that she ended up in a car accident, no one died luckily as she was the only one involved and hurt in the incident. But now, Hwang Tiffany is laid up in a hospital for the past year in a coma. Doctors feel that the dark-haired woman will wake up soon. Her vitals look good and there is brain activity. She just has yet to regain consciousness. She had came in so near death after the accident it was truly a miracle that she was even alive.

"How's Ms. Hwang doing today?"

"Her vitals look good. There is no reason why she can't wake up soon."

Only when the nurse and doctor leave they didn't see a petite set of fingers moving slightly against her sheets.

When Joohyun leaves their apartment to go to the studio. Seulgi is left to her own devices. She often works at home at her own leisure. But does travel to her professional studio where everything she needs to work is. Especially when she's working on more larger scale projects. She doesn't mind being home in their apartment. Sometimes it is within this space a lot of her creativity flourishes. She certainly was able to work a lot when Joohyun abruptly ended their relationship. Only after she gotten over her initial depression and shock. Out of the pain and confusion came a lot of beautifully drawn comics that helped cement her popularity. She even turned that particular heartbreak into an award-winning popular series among many age groups.

Sometimes though when she's alone she can't help but to wonder if Tiffany is okay. They had been close friends for so long before dating, naturally she did still care about her. Her cell rings and she sees that it's Joy.

"Hey, Joy what's up?"

"Seulgi, have you and Joohyun started making wedding plans yet? Where's it going to be? How many people are you going to invite?"

Seulgi cuts her off before Joy can start asking another 10 questions. "Joy, slow down. Hyun and I just got engaged, like yesterday." She sarcastically mentions the fact that it's too soon still for details. "We haven't even gotten that far yet."

"Seul! You have to think about these things. What if Joohyun wants to have the wedding back home in Daegu?"

The thought did cross her mind as her fiancee's family is back in Daegu, where Joohyun is originally from. Yet there was also the possibility of flying her family out here to Seoul. Or even they could have their wedding some place else entirely, like Hawaii or Thailand. Between the two of them they were certainly not hurting for money.

"This will be an amazing wedding unnie. The ring you bought alone, ah...." Joy swooned and the brunette laughed. "I am really happy for you though. You were so broken-hearted when Tiffany ended your relationship."

As Joy was always closer to Seulgi. She came to her favorite unnie's defense on this one. She had genuinely liked the older woman for Seulgi until her friend had her heart broken, and no matter how savage Joy can come across. People know better than to mess with the people she loves and cares about.

"Yes, I was. But I've got Hyun and I'm happy."

"Not only can she cook she is both gorgeous and nice! How does that even happen, it rarely happens. You've got the perfect wife material in Joohyun."

Seulgi did agree. Her fiancée was just so warm, kind and honestly always took care of her in some way or another. Whether it was cooking for her so she wouldn't end up starving or constantly ordering takeout. Or making sure if she fell asleep at random places she was never cold because she'd immediately place a blanket over her. Sometimes Joohyun would wake her up though with super, soft kisses so she could join her in bed. Joohyun also really enjoyed domestic hobbies such as ironing and doing laundry, and so people continued to tease she would be the perfect wife. Seulgi doesn’t disagree in the sense that Joohyun is certainly wife material.

Now once upon a time people would always tease Seulgi that Tiffany was great wife material. Because the raven was the kind caring, sweet, affectionate person that would give her partner so much love and attention, and that’s also because she craved the same sort of attention in return. Maybe, once a upon a time she'd be engaged to Tiffany now. But the older woman was her past. She had a future with someone she loved to look forward to

Joohyun is in such a good mood everyone notices, from producers to staff, to her managers. They all also notice her gorgeous ring that gets her tons of compliments. Jennie and Chaeyoung corner her the first chance they get.

"Hyun, is it true? Seulgi proposed to you? Joy told me." Jennie says the first chance she gets.

"Look at the ring!" Chaeyoung grabs her hand. "Damn, Seulgi did good." The younger brunette eyes the huge rock with an impressed look. Joohyun can't help her blush. The ring is really beautiful and she can't help smiling and thinking of her wife to be. Not that she needed a ring to think of Seulgi. She's always thinking about her kind, gorgeous monolid love. But thinking of her as her wife instead of just a girlfriend does cause many butterflies in her stomach.

"Yea, it was so expensive. I would have been happy with anything she picked."

"Joohyun, you have Kang Seulgi, super hot, y, and sweet artist. Let her spoil you like you deserve to be." Jennie reminds her that she deserves to be spoiled by someone who loves her as much as Seulgi clearly loves her, and as much as Seulgi may feel that she spoils her. Seulgi is the same way with her, always leaving sweet notes of encouragement for her. Seulgi is also her biggest fan and cheerleader whenever she has a performance or song being released. The artist will find a way to physically be there or send her support in other forms, such as flowers, personal messages, or food trucks if she knows Joohyun will be out for many hours. Seulgi always has a way to make her feel better when she's nervous, whether its a hand squeeze or kisses. The brunette also does many small, but heartwarming gestures like offering her jacket whenever they go out on dates.

"I'm really lucky."

Chaeyoung nods, but remembers the slight issues the couple had in the beginning. Joohyun had worries at first that maybe Seulgi wasn't completely over her ex girlfriend. Those are issues she can understand all too well.

"Joohyun, I know you two are in a really good place, and I'm happy for you both, but are you worried about her ex at all."

Joohyun can't lie that in the start of their relationship, just before it got serious. She did have worries and concerns. Seulgi had a long term relationship with Tiffany. Seulgi however was always open and honest with her. It was something the raven had appreciated. Tiffany isn't even an issue at this point. It's been 9 years since she had any contact with Seulgi, and Chaeyoung was right that they were in a great place. Joohyun has never loved anyone like the way she loves Kang Seulgi.

"I'm not. Her ex-girlfriend hasn't contacted her in years. Seulgi and I are together and that's what matters, not the past."

Jennie smiles warmly, now that’s the kind of talk she wants to hear. Who cares about some ex from that many years ago? When right now is what matters. "Exactly we have a wedding to look forward to. Do you have your dress already, Joohyun?"

Joohyun just looks surprised. "Let Seulgi and I at least pick a date first." She lets out an amused laugh. After all they had just gotten engaged, they had time for setting dates, picking out dresses, and which cake they would have among other things. The singer just really wanted to enjoy the moment.

Hwang Tiffany wakes up disoriented and fuzzy on many details. She has no idea where she is and why her head hurts so badly. Bright brown orbs blink curiously taking in her surrounding. She has white sheets and a blanket covering her, and an IV in her arm. She notices right away white hospital walls.

"Why am I here?"

"Ms. Hwang, hello." A doctor smiles warmly. "You're awake, can you talk to us at all?"

"Where...." she swallows thickly. "Seulgi...." she calls out. "Please, call Seulgi." and her eyes weakly close again. Leaving the doctor surprised at her first words. Nothing about her whereabouts or her accident, or how long has she been in the hospital. Just someone named Seulgi.
