- So now what's the next part of the plan? - Hyunggu asked Chaeyeon as they were both finishing their meal. 

The place they ate was a small restaurant that Hyunggu discovered was one of Chaeyeon's favorite places. And he could see why. He wasn't exactly fond of sushi but he had to admit the food was delicious.

- Mmm. The next part is quite simple. We have to confront them. - Chaeyeon replied. 

- Confront them? Do you mean telling them what we feel? - 

- No. I mean to have a meeting with the four of us. Nothing better than to show them what they're missing out while we're all together. - 

- You're saying they would compare us. You want the four of us to be together at the same place and Minji would compare Rowoon with me and he would do the same with you. - Hyunggu guessed and Chaeyeon nodded. 

- I know people always say it's a bad thing to compare people with one another. But everyone does it anyway. You just can't help to do it. - 

- Didn't you say it was not a competition? - Hyunggu asked with hesitation.

- And it's not, Kino. All I'm saying is that we have to show them all the things we have in common with them that they don't have with each other. Like for example, I like tattoos just like Rowoon does and I can't wait to get one. But Minji does not like them. - 

- Yeah, I don't like tattoos either. - Hyunggu added. 

- See? That's what I mean. Besides, I'm proposing this because I know if she compares the two of you, it's not that you will be losing by default. You have your own charms, I told you. - 

- Really? If you compare the two of us I bet I lose. - 

- That's because you're not my type. Just like I'm not your type. But you are Minji's type and I'm Rowoon's type. - Chaeyeon explained and Hyunggu nodded in agreement. 

- Alright. Then, how are we going to do that? Where are we going to be the four of us together? - 

- Well, tonight was a big opportunity but we lost it. - the girl said and Hyunggu looked down with regret. But Chaeyeon continued. - We're going to have to find out when and where will be their next date but I don't know how are we going to find it out. - 

- How about we meet at the private academy next Thursday? It's easy to see them there. - 

Chaeyeon thought about Hyunggu's suggestion for a while. It was certain the four of them could meet at the private academy but Chaeyeon ultimately denied with her head. 

- I don't want to meet them while we're wearing our uniforms. It's better when they don't get reminded of our age difference. - 

Hyunggu was quick to agree with Chaeyeon. He also never wanted for Minji to be especially aware of how much younger he was. So he thought about something else. 

- I got an idea. How about we influence them. Kind of like sending them subliminal messages. We suggest a place to go or something to do for a date. - 

- You mean like we recommend them a place and convince them to go. That way we can ask them when they'd go. - 

- Yes, exactly. - 

- Wow, Angel. That's a brilliant idea. I knew you had potential. - 

- Well, you did say two heads think better than one. - Hyunggu smiled. - There's this place I know. It's a sort of a reading club and they read poetry and such. Minji likes poetry. - 

The smile on Chaeyeon's face faded a little with Hyunggu's words. 

- Poetry, you say. That's... an option. But I was thinking about something fun. The amusement park. We go there tomorrow, we see and try all the attractions and we can know exactly what to say to convince them to go. - 

- We go there tomorrow, you and I? - Hyunggu asked confused. 

- Yes, we go with my friends. Didn't you hear Seokmin inviting us a while ago? - 

- He probably invited you. I don't think he meant me. - 

- Seokmin loves to go to these places with many people because it's more fun. He meant to invite you for sure. -  

- Really? Well, I guess we can go with your friends. - 

"... your friends." That part didn't go over Chaeyeon's head at all. It was curious to her he said it considering both Seokmin and Eunwoo were Hyunggu's classmates. She remembered Eunwoo said Hyunggu never talked to anyone and she also remembered he said nobody noticed when he was beaten up. Chaeyeon knew it had to do with his lack of confidence but since a while ago he refused to talk about it, she didn't want to insist. 

But she did want to know something. 

- Can I ask you a question, Hyunggu? Do you have friends? - 

Hyunggu stared in silence at her for a few seconds before he nodded. 

- I do. I have two friends. - 

- In school? - 

- Oh, no. They go to a different school. They actually live in a different city. I know them from when I used to live with my grandparents. - he explained. 

Chaeyeon wanted to ask more about it but he said it was getting really late and both left the restaurant. Hyunggu took Chaeyeon home after the girl tried to take the bus which he didn't accept. 

When they got to her building, Chaeyeon got off the scooter and looked at Hyunggu with a serious expression.

- You know what, Kino. Tomorrow at the amusement park you can practice your confidence. You can start by talking more freely and get closer to your own classmates. - 

- Right. I guess I can try. - he said not so certain about it. So Chaeyeon knew he needed a bit of more push. 

- I bet one of the things Minji liked about Rowoon is how confident he is. -           

The change in Hyunggu's eyes that Chaeyeon was trying to see happened immediately and she couldn't help but smile wider. She tried to go but she remembered she was wearing Hyunggu's helmet so she turned back around to give it back but she stumbled and almost fell on him. 

- Oops. - she said as she laughed at her own clumsiness. She then proceeded to put the helmet on Hyunggu just as he put it on her. 

- I'll see you tomorrow. - Chaeyeon added as she walked away. 

When Hyunggu was returning home, he noticed his heart was beating faster than usual. He thought it was because of how nervous he was about the next day because even if Seokmin invited him, that didn't mean the others would want him to go with them. 

He had to do cleaning duties with Jungkook and Jaehyun, and while they were nice with him, they haven't gotten close. Therefore he thought he was nervous and his heart was showing it. 

I mean, what other reason could his heart be beating so fast for? The fact that when Chaeyeon almost fell on him their faces were inches apart? Or, when Chaeyeon put the helmet on him her hand seemed to caress him? 

Nope. Those were not the reasons. Right?

On Sunday, Hyunggu was up quite early and got ready to go to the amusement park. But once he went down the stairs, he found his father sitting at the table reading the paper. 

- Dad, you're back from the market already. - 

- I didn't go this time. Are you going out? - His father asked. 

- Yes... no. I thought you weren't here. So I was... but I'm not going now. - 

- Why? Where were you going? - 

- To the store. But I'm just going back to my room and continue with my radio show. - 

Mr. Kang was a smart man and he instantly caught Hyunggu's lie. 

- Were you going to the store dressed like that? I know when you're young, and especially when you're a teenager you want to look nice but that outfit is not for the store. Where were you going for real?
