"Baby I love ya, but I just can't smile"

These 9 words. These 9 words were the bane of my current existence. I was perfectly fine keeping my mouth shut, sitting in the back of the music club I had joined, very willingly I'd opt not to make any new friends, and would rather coexist like a fly on the wall, but no... My wonderful friend Taehyung really had to volunteer me to play this stupid game which lead to my current predicament...Awkwardly sitting on a chair in the middle of the room with the other 40-or-so members from my University's music club staring at me as I tried my best to keep a straight face while the other members tried to make me smile or laugh. 

The last member, the one that came so close to making me crack was this one guy with light brown hair, a cute face and a sweet voice that could easily make my heart melt. He started by walking up to me and winking as he does a body wave before saying the words "Baby, I love you, won't you please smile?". I sat there unfazed and blinked at him. "Baby I love ya, but I just can't smile". 

For his second turn, he pouted slightly and put his hands behind his back as he swayed back and forth. In a cute voice he said "Baby, I love you, won't you please smile?". I had to admit it definitely was cute, but my inner-resolve had not  crumbled just yet. "Baby I love ya, but I just can't smile", I repeated the phrase one more as I shook my head. With one more turn I would be the ultimate champion, the winner, and possibly the owner of a blushing face if this guy continued to act as cute. 

For his last attempt, he took my hands and squeezed them light. I was slightly distracted at the thought that his hands were not only the same size as mine, but they were probably softer than mine. He took a step closer to me and released one of my hands as he moved some stray hairs away from my face. Slowly, he leaned in closer, making my straight face falter a bit at the distance between us. I could hear my heart beating loudly, but hopefully no one else noticed as he whispered into my left ear. "Baby, I love you, won't you please smile?". I didn't even have to look in a mirror to know that my cheeks were know probably tinted with a light shade of pink as I felt the warmth flood to my cheeks. I inhaled before saying words that I don't even know how I managed to say while managing to keep a straight and expressionless face. "Baby I love ya, but I just can't smile". 

Suddenly, I heard hollering and clapping as the other members cheered for my success and winning the game. My best friend shouting out " Yasss! (Y/N). Go best friend, that's my best friend!" was probably what made me finally laugh out loud. 

The guy in front of me sighed out of frustration, but as he heard Taehyung shout, he bursted out laughing and shook his head. "You're too good at this. It's quite unfair." He smiled and his eyes turned into cute crescents as he reached hand out to me. "I'm Jimin. Park Jimin, but I guess you can call me baby..." He said jokingly before winking at me. 

I couldn't help but roll my eyes and laugh at his introduction. "Hi...I'm (Y/N) and it's nice to meet you baby, I'm yours", I said before laughing even harder. It would've been funnier if I could wnk, but from Jimin's reaction I probably looked like I either got something in my eye or that I was blinking profusely because he just laughed even harder, before smirking and then leaning in to whisper in my ears once again. "Well, if you're mine then one day baby, I really will have to make you smile." Then, he walked away and back towards his group of friends on the other side of the room. I just sat there in a daze trying to decipher what he had meant by that, before Tae came up to me to drag me to the cafeteria to get snacks.

So, like I haven't written anything in a while, and I was feeling bored and felt like writing a short little drabble fluffy lowkey crack fic. I was wondering if maybe I should actually expand on this story, but I don't know hahahah anyways if you read this, I hope you enjoyed ^^  Feel free to comment, and give any ideas or suggestions.
