Jiyong POV

After that cute incident, whenever I get unloaded from the bus, I find her waiting for me there at the bench, taking “I’m bored.” As her excuse.

One day my mother asked us to bring some groceries for dinner, and we went together to the market.

“Did we get all what we need?”

“Hmm, we’re missing the plastic bags for sandwiches.”

“It’s alright, we will go to the next market and look for them.”

“Alright let’s go then.”

As we reached the next market, she told me to wait outside as I was holding so many bags, and she went to look for some.

My eyes spotted a grandmother that was selling some accessories over there.

I went to look at her products, then spotted a cute phone accessory that looked just like Taeyeon.

“Grandma, how much is this?…” I bought them from her.

“Whoever getting this gift is really lucky little boy.”

“Why?” I asked while smiling.

“Because your girlfriend got to have a cute gift with a handsome man too.”

“Ah, it’s not my girlfriend, just a friend.”

“Aye what are you talking about?” she objected, “This accessory is for couples.”

“But it’s really not like that…”

“Oppa!” she came calling.

“Have a good day.” I bowed for her and went running toward Taeyeon.

“I found some.” She said excitedly.

“Let’s go then, it’s cold.”

“Where were you?”

“Ah, I was looking around.”

“Oppa, let’s get us an ice cream.”

“What? In this cold?”

“Oppa~” she whined cutely.

“Alright, alright just don’t whine anymore.”

She ran happily before me first.

I chuckled and followed her.

We gave my mom her needs, and then went to the see our drama and eat our ice cream.

I was laying at the sofa, while she was siting at the ground and leaning her back to the sofa I’m sitting at.

“Ah, Why Shin is this cute!” She reacted as we were watching the drama Goong.

“Here…” I threw at her a small box.

“What is this?” she looked at me, then opened it to find a small teddy bear phone accessory that appeared in the same drama we’re watching.

“Oh my!” she reacted. “It’s so cute!”

I chuckled.

“Thank you Yong oppa!” she went up quickly that made her trip and fall at me.

I looked at her, and she stared back.

We were just blinking rapidly at each other.

“Jiyong, did your sister come already?” my mother called from the kitchen.

“N-No.” I answered her as Taeyeon pulled away from me.

“Ajumma, should I help you out?” she told her and ran to the kitchen.

“Umma, I’m going out.” I cried and went outside, to find Taeyeon’s mother there watering the plants.

“Ajumma, should I water them with you?” “

“Will you do that?” she asked while smiling.

“Give it to me…” I took the hose and watered them instead of her.

She smiled at me then teared briefly, “You reminded me with my son Jiwoong.”

“It’s just few more weeks and he will be here with us.”

“Right, will you be my son in that mean time?”

“Of course, Ajumma.”

 She hugged me quickly from the back, “Thank you son.”

On my graduation, I didn’t just have one family to attend it, but both my parents and Taeyeon’s parents all came and congratulated me.

After the ceremony, a lot of junior girls surrounded me.

I smiled here and there trying to get out from them.

“Oppa!” her voice was the solution always for my problems.

I smiled brightly, “Uh, Yeon-ah~”

They glared at me.  

“Oppa here…” Taeyeon gave me a bouquet of white daisy flowers as it was my favorite and her favorite as well. “Congratulations on getting older.”

“Thank you.” I told her shyly, while her hair gently.

They got pissed off, and started going one by one.

“You’re really heartless, I don’t know how you will be an idol later on.” She told me sarcastically, “I bet no one would like to be your fan.”

“You’ll see.”

“If you really get fans more than me, I will do anything you want.”

“Are you for real?”

She nodded.

“Alright, here…” I gave her my pinky to compromise each other.
