The White King
Description
This is a fic in which he goes on a mission to find his parents' murderer and she tries to break her chains, seeking the freedom she desires.
"From now on, we have each other's backs."
SUMMARY
Many years ago, the world was destroyed by a meteor shower. Therefore, the Gods decided to come out with a system. They chose five people that would rule the world together. These people took their position as King of the five empires. With these five Kings, the Gods hoped that it would make the world a better place.
But as decades past, the Kings started fighting with each other instead of getting along. That included their future generations who succeeded the throne. Some looked down on the other party while some wanted to invade and conquer another territory. All of these unwise actions cause the Kings to fight a lot and that unpleased the Gods.
Therefore, the Gods decided to create one more King. This King would have the ability to neutralize all other Kings, hoping to bring the five of them together again. They believed he was the one with the cure for the world.
And they called him The White King.
Foreword
SNEAK-PEEK
She could not believe her eyes. She thought that because he had appeared so many times in her dreams, she was seeing things. But there he was, standing right in front of her, and she knew that it was more than that. He was exactly the same as she remembered. Wearing a white shirt with a pair of faded blue jeans. He was hold a transparent umbrella on his right hand. A small smile grew on his lips when his eyes met hers, as if they were acquainted. But she has never met him before, not in real life anyway.
“Are you okay?” Her client spoke, breaking her train of thoughts and she saw that he was standing in front of her. She nodded in response to his question and they headed towards the door.
The man in white stepped aside for her client to exit, and she quickly followed him. Just as she was about to walk past the man in white, he whispered loud enough only for her ears.
“We’ll meet again very soon, my little canary.”
AUTHOR'S NOTE
You guys know I write the lamest foreword. But trust me, it will get interesting pretty soon. And one more thing, I haven't been writing for the longest time so bear with me OTL.
