Her eyes were blotted and the tears were dancing at the edge. Like a statue, she remained shockingly looking at him. The words have gone numb and she felt like freezing in her head.

She touched the necklace again without breaking the eye contact with him. She was able to see the shock in his eyes. But why is he surprised? It’s because he has known everything beforehand. His shocking face was telling her that he knew everything. And he hid them from her…

She slowly walked to him.

“This! This necklace! Is it yours?” she asked while wiping her blotted eyes.

Sean knew this situation. In his imaginations, he had imagined this dreadful moment for hundreds of times so far. But he never knew how he should face it and handle it properly.

“Is it yours?” she asked again. her entire facial expressions were surprising. Her widened big eyes made him scared.

“Yes!” he murmured.

“To whom does this belong?” she asked again.

The answer is so simple but it’s not that much easy to translate to words. She noticed the change and fear in his face. She knew the answer which he’s going to give. But yet she wanted to hear it from him.

“Riana! I will explain everything from the beginning” he replied trying to start reasoning everything.

“No, please answer for what I ask...” she said with a strict voice. He felt her difference version at that point. He felt the distance already. He knew that things won’t be the same just as before from this moment onwards.

“To whom does this belong?” she asked the same when he remained in silent.

“It…It belongs… to my sister” his words broke in the mid. He noticed the fresh tear just rolled down from her cheek. She silently nodded her head to mention that she understood everything.

“The surgery scar on your body! Was it the scar which remained after the liver transplant?” She woke up her voice once again.

“Yes”

His tone was so lower. There was no point of hiding things at this point as he did so far.

“And you had that transplant at the age of twelve?” without wiping the tears and letting them flow freely with her pain, she started questioning.

“Yes”

“And, your name! it’s fake, right?” Sean lowered his head towards the floor. To where these questions were leading?

“Yes...” Riana wiped all the tears in her face. Everything is crystal clear to her now.

“Your sister! You found her, right?” He looked at her eyes at this point. There were no tears in her eyes anymore. Those star eyes were empty already.

“Yes”

“Did she have a birthmark on her and a scar on her thigh which you were looking for?”

Sean bit his under lip... He couldn’t answer her like this though she is asking very straightforward. He was unable to understand by asking such to where she was heading on.

“Riana! Let me explain” he said helplessly.

“Answer me first...” she said in another very strict tone which he has never heard. Her empty eyes made him frightened without a delay.

“Did she have a birthmark on her and a scar on her thigh?” she asked the same again in a firm tone. He sighed.

“Yes”

“Did she have a red bracelet which you made for her?”

“Yes”

“And then, even after knowing such, you! You!......... Even after knowing that she’s your sister, how did you………how did you touch her? How did you fell in love with her? How did you hide everything from her? How come you deceive her like this? And finally, how did you marry her? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!?????????????????????”

Her words spread all over the room. They were repeating and repeating in his ears. She was like an insane person. She was shouting like a crazy. She was totally going mad and she didn’t know what she should do here in after.

“Riana! Listen to me, first…please…”

But he was unable to control her. She was not in a mind where he could control and explain. She was totally in a different world to where even he’s unable to walk or understand.

“How come you married your sister??? How come a brother married his sister??? This is … This is wrong…. How??? How??? How didn’t I know anything so far? How come I let you touch me like that? You are my brother…we are siblings for God sake!” She yelled again.

“Riana! No! it’s not like that. We are not blood-related siblings…please…”

“Our parents got married. Our parents were legally married. Didn’t you know? There is no other proof need us to become siblings. ‘what? Blood-related?’ Is it that much important? Riana held her head from her both hands as she felt like everything was revolving around her suddenly. And her eyes began blotting and entire nature was becoming dark.
