When the oldest Jung sibling returns to the palace after a study abroad which took 6 years, Taekwoon is thrown into the unknown when a civil war is about come. Taekwoon immediately starts to practice, because he has to know when to defend himself when he feels attacked. Just when the civil indeed starts, the Jung family has to flee temporarily and Taekwoon meets a boy who is special in Taekwoon's eyes. Taekwoon's father tries to separate the two, but death is the price he has to pay as he is being killed when he tries to flee with his family. And Taekwoon manages to stay with the vampire who changed his life.
