Son Youngtaek never really had much of an interest in girls. Sure, he can admire them; girls can be cute, girls can be pretty, but overall anime girls were better (he's not kidding) and he just doesn't have time to seek out a relationship. Besides, he had his best buds in the world (nobody remembers how they were named "Golden Child") along with his best friend since forever - Bae Seomin, Seungmin's younger sister. Sure, she was a girl, but the thing is, she's not... really... that much of a girl? Was he supposed to see her in that way?

That is, until Youngtaek starts to realize that maybe, just maybe, she's the cutest thing he has ever seen.

Meanwhile, Bae Seomin has practically grown up with Youngtaek since she was three years old and he was five. Youngtaek had always been the same weird guy with no interest in (real) girls and a severe addiction to playing video games. Seomin had always been the bro-friend with a tomboyish side, making her easily adopted into "Golden Child" (still a stupid name, she thinks). That doesn't mean she doesn't know how to fall in love, though. It just means it may actually be Youngtaek and he may more or less not have a single clue about what love is. Was she tired of it? Yes, definitely.

So she gives up and decides to catch the eye of another guy instead. Except Youngtaek's helping her, even against his will.
