A Low Voice by Park Jimin

A tremble that’s hidden by a secret

Passes through my ears

On a strange path that can’t go back

Take me away, yes I know

Change the hidden truth

It’s going to spill out

“Hey...Shin Ah Rin.” A girl called, came with other girls and approaching her who was sitting with Sang hyuk on the long bench at the yard

“yes..” She said awkwardly, worried if they come with other bad plans, like they did ever since they arrived to this orphanage.

Those girls take a seat beside her, and it make her feel so uncomfortable. But Sang hyuk was with her, and obviously she couldn’t show how afraid she is. “What do you want?’ Ah Rin asked with her low voice, and everyone will know that she hides her fear.

“I thought... you really have an innocent face.” She said

“What do you mean?” Ah Rin couldn’t understand

“Why do you need to stay with us? Do you know that you and your friends are being a nuisance? Such a dangerous occupant.” The other girl started to make a fight by her face, which looked so demeaning her.

“I...” Ah Rin is looking down, she couldn’t say anything, she felt so guilty. “I am..so..”

“We never have an idea to make you feel uncomfortable with us from the first place.” Sang Hyuk suddenly said. So brave, and it makes Ah Rin amazed.

“Oh, now this little kid makes his way to arguing?” One of the girls stand up and pointing to Sang Hyuk.

“I am not afraid with you, don’t said any nonsense word to my sister and all of my family.” Sang Hyuk looked so fine and okay, even if the girls are bigger than him.

“Yah! Look at yourself, who are you? You don’t have anything, even your childminder are leaving you.”

“They always with us.” Shin Ah Rin said and take a step to stands in front of Sang Hyuk, she couldn’t be a burden, when she should be the one who protect her little brother.

“I heard that your principal jailed? And i heard police were looking for the rest? All of you are criminals, aren’t you?”

“Don’t talk about something that you never know.” Ah Rin said it boldly

“See..what we have here, just a poor, fool and unblessed kids.” The girl is pushing Ah Rin

“we are not like that..” Ah Rin pushes the girl back

“What? HOW DARE YOU!”

“I am sorry, i didn’t mean to pushes you that hard.” Ah Rin apologizing

“You will pay for this...” The girl is grabbing Ah Rin’s collar and ready to hit her

Ah Rin could be beaten if only someone doesn’t hold the girl’s hand.

“You?!”

“Hyung!” Sang Hyuk said when he saw Min Soo, Yeon Ho and Jeong Eun behind the girls

“Ah, i am not usually hit a girl.” Yeon Ho said, “Min soo ya, this should be a girl task like Jeong Eun. Isn’t it? Don’t be too harsh okay? Our leader?” He added and smiling, while Min Soo who hold the girl’s hand was looking so calm.

“I know, but ... when they did something or hurt our family, is that mean an exception?” He said seriously

“I think i’ve warned you before, when we met several days ago?” Jeong Eun doesn’t even listened to yeon ho, she is looking straight to the girl.

“i..we...”those girls looked so afraid to them

“Leave us or i will make you regret.” Jeong Eun said

“Okaay!” The girls run and leave them

“Woo, what did you do to them, Jeong Eun-ah?” Yeon ho asked, innocently

“Is that even a question? When you know about it, including the details.”

“Hehe, just curious.”

“Are you okay, ah rin? Sang Hyuk?” Min soo asked “ I am sorry, we weren’t here when you need us.”

“It’s okay, we are fine, Sang Hyuk did so well to protecting me.” Ah Rin said

“Woah, our little brother is amazing!” Yeon Ho is ruffling Sang hyuk’s hair

“When will we leave this horrible place?” Ah Rin asked

“We need to waiting until the time comes.” Min soo said

“Our principal..and Yoseop hyung are okay right?” Sang Hyuk asked

“We should believe that everything will be okay.” Jeong Eun reasurring him

“Don’t worry, we will back to our home like usual.”

“Where do you find that confidence Yeon Ho?”

“It called as optimism, you should know that, Yoon ddan ddan hyung told me that.”

“At least that you get something beside disturbing him.” Jeong Eun said, sarcastically

“Hahahaha”

“KIDS!” They heard someone calling for them from a far. It is from a man who were waving his hands to the kids.

“Wa haha, Yoon Ddan ddan Hyung ! i told you right? We will back to our home, soon!” Yeon Ho said before he runs towards Ddan ddan, Hayoung and Seung Yoon.

“We couldn’t believe other than it.” Ah Rin said

“When Ddan ddan hyung and Hayoung noona comes, it means...”Min soo is smiling

“we will back to our home!” Sang Hyuk said with a bright smile before running to following Yeon Ho

“Come on, Jeong Eun ah!” Min soo said before he runs to approaching their ‘parents’

“we will be there...home! I am coming !” Jeong Eun whispered.

I want to loudly shout with a low voice

I can’t get you out of my head

Hotly rising up

When it blossoms

I won’t know if it’s light or dark

I can’t get you out of my mind

Jeong eunji’s Point of View

She is not sure, her thoughts are mixed up right now and obviously it makes her hard to think and decide. Since she arrived twenty minutes ago, her feet couldn’t takes her away, it stayed at the same place instead.  She is looking at the same direction, to a building which could be seen up there.

‘Ah So nostalgic’

That place gave her so much memories, a place which gave her warmth, happiness and...guilty.  She takes a deep breath and looking down to her shoes. Why is it to hard for her just to keep walking and refuse to turn her back from that orphanage? It questioned her, it should be easy, just walking through this road and she will arrived to the orphanage.

It should be easy, but..she can’t

Her guilty make it being worse, she is not sure if others will forgive her for all of the mistakes. Even though that she manages to solve it, but still...everything wouldn’t be the same as before.

Drrt..ddrt..

Her phone is distracting, someone just called her

‘Dujun oppa? Why is he calling me?’ she thought

“hallo, dujun oppa?”

“Ah Eunji, where are you now? Chorong has told me that you were in Busan, is that right?”

“yes i am.”

“it relieved, can we meet for a while?”

“But you’re in Seoul, how we...”

“ahahaha, i am sorry, i haven’t told you that we were in Busan right now.”

“What? Here? But why?”

“we have a huge business which was related to our friend, Yang Yoseop”

It make her confused, how could he knows about Yoseop, probably....

“Oppa, you are not in your duty to arresting him right? Based on my article and an evidence that i found, he is not...”

“wow..wow calm down, i knew it, i am so thankful about that, that’s why i really want to meet you. Is that possible?”

“It depends on how far you are.”

“hehehe, it’s okay if you need us to pick you up.”

Eunji is smiling. “Where do you want us to meet?”

“Sae Bit Kids Orphanage, i know that you were familliar with that place..”

‘Such a coincidence huh?’

“Eunji?”

“Ah yes? Okay i will come.”
